I have a 10' sandy mound of original sandy Central Florida soil 60' away i need to cut, move and distribute at 3' high 30'x30' area. Can a Bobcat like this do it do that job?
for any dirt work, tracks are the way to go. much more traction, especially in muddy conditions, where tires are worthless. but if you work on pavement, and hard surfaces wheels are the way to go, ride will be a lot smoother, and especially if your doing snow work you wanna go with wheels. Also tracks make a mess usually, so if you are working over existing landscapes, you will want to go wheels, or even better, an all wheel steer machine.
Tom, you are an amazing operator. Extremely fun to watch. Would you be able to help me with equipment purchasing decisions? I have a large trac of land that my wife and I plan to build on in upstate NY over the next year or so however we need some equipment to maintain. The soil content is clay with a stream and pond. The equipment would be used for landscaping, maintaing trails through the property, hauling trees for firewood, working around the pond and stream areas and for snow removal.
Good to see you back in the brown stuff i was getting a bit snow blind with all the white stuff. Do you ever get tired of the snow yourself? Good video by the way, hope it's a great year for ye.
hey, was wondering if you could give us a before and after of some of the jobs you do, kind of do 15 seconds at the start of what it did look like, then 15 second when you're heading out! would be cool to see what was low and how much of a difference it made. Great video though keep 'em coming
GOOD STUFF!! who hit the the THUMBS DOWN BUTTON ? what could you possibly not like ? This dude puts up a video and remember he DOESN'T force you to watch it....I swear the internet is full of jack offs and mama's boys ....keyboard tuff "guys"
Possibly not the proper tension on the track, or the tracks are old and worn out. I have only thrown the track on this machine 4 times in the 6 years we have owned it.
Love the skid steer dirt work! Viewed, Liked, Subscribed, Shared!
Nice, its amazing how versatile skid steers are.Great Video!

We have one but dont really need it. And tooth buckets are a pain to do final grading with
would u rather have an enclosed or open cab?

what sort of attachment do you use to clean up trees and rubbish? material grapples?
Never had the need. And on our usual jobs we are changing attachments too much to make it worth while.
Have you ever used bobcats Tilt-Tatch attachment when you grade?
If you do a lot of snow try an ASV (now Terex) with their track system, the traction is better than any other wheeled or tracked machine.
Why slope the grade towards the house? Water run off.
How do you like those tracks on your T300. I have the same machine and I'm due for replacing them.
Do you prefer tracks or wheels and why
Just the bucket, or our mini excavator.
Why don't you ever use a tooth bucket on this machine? Just because you don't have one or would you not use it very much if you did?
what hank anderson said
Why my T 300 bobcat lost power when I push fill
Is ur rpm over 2000?
Why dont you use 4 in 1 buckets?
u need chris's little komatsu
have u tried the cat 299c thay nice machein
I have, its big and powerfull
No, never felt I had a need.
