I saw something simular in action on two lots next door. Weed and swamp grass 4' tall. It was amazing how quickly it cut what was in it's path. It got it all, the weeds and grass, the neighbors water well, and a pile of bricks. Took the well head and casing right to the dirt..
it'll be a lot smoother if you run your boom in float. Press and hold the yellow button on the right handle, push your right handle forward and then let go of both, your boom will be in float providing a smoother ride but more importantly, a much better cut. Nice Vid! Nice machine!
I rented a Brushcat 72" Standard Flow unit for mowing road shoulders at a development about a month and a half ago and thought the same as you. In my experience you actually don't want to use this attachment in float. Kinda hard to explain why but you actually want the loader arms raised slightly and tilted forward slightly. If the CTL has weights on the rear or the ground conditions are on the soft side you want to put some weight on the machine by slightly tilting the arms back, making the front skid shoes almost slightly off the ground. Keeps the skid shoes from gouging the ground. I'm VERY pleased with how the Brushcat cuts and contours the ground.
Dean Hartz it cuts up to 3” but it just cuts it and falls down, not much grinding action, your right best suited for field grass and thin brush like stickers
@@Pawinterservices Good to know. I was thinking about getting one but the smaller blade set up and the fact you can't lift it off the ground made me second guess. It does a real nice job in the thinner stuff though
If you have to lift the brush mower to get taller stuff Do you hear the front door/ window getting hit with rocks and stuff I want mower like that but I don’t have a door
Those blades don’t need to be very sharp. Really can’t keep them sharp. Amazingly clean roadside. I did not hear or see beer bottles, wire, car parts, and litter getting ground up. That is a beautiful machine and a deluxe brush hog cutter head. Does the skid steer have a lock for the thumb control? How about anything else cruise control? It cuts nice. Many places I will cut twice to produce a much nicer result. Would you please share the source where you had your T shirt made? I cannot find anywhere reasonably priced. Thanks.
It’s a private community so the scum bags that litter don’t come through. I have a button that locks the auxiliary flow on, but there is no cruise control unfortunately. Bindics screen printing does my shirts, like $10 for two sides and two colors
ive been looking at brush cutters for my S205. may i ask how much they roughly cost? im sure in USD they are much cheaper. i was looking at a concrete breaker that was 10K brand new. i would think this unit would be around 20k new
Bobcat mowers are definitely not light duty this mower is not made to mow off 8 inch trees if you can push it over it will mow it up just fine the reason for the rear roller is keep it from throwing stuff at you I've never had anything hit me yet I have the same mower and an 80" high flow great machine
Thanks for telling us how much you charged it’s helpful to get a realistic idea what we should be charging most fellas aren’t confident enough to tell you thanks again
What speed are you able to mow at, seemed like you were able to get decent cut going quite fast, which is what I'm after. I just acquired a 60 acre dilapidated golf course to mow and maintain for year, and 2020... Already have Bobcat, something like this is appealing over tractor/flail mower
I was mowing a 5 acre lot and on my way back down the next row, I saw what looked like a duck bill and foot. Felt bad, no way to see them. Best not to let grass get that tall before you mow.
John Moore we can cut up to 3” hardwood or 4” pine. It doesn’t cut well but it will “cut down” the tree. It’s best suited for brush and grass. I’ve already been in 12’ tall brush and it moved it right over at about 1” thick growth

Watching you brushogging in that rig is visually satisfying.
I have the same mower mounted to my Kubota SVL 90 2. Good mower. The only problem I had was bearings on roller going out. I just took roller off.
Very good job enjoyed watching it thank you for sharing it with us
Hello from a fellow Pocono resident
Good job on hat cutting. You don't half-step when traveling down that shoulder. That BushCat does a trick. Sweet!
That would take a solid week and a half straight with no breaks with a stihl kombi brush butter attachment lol

Nice machine - I want one!
That thing is a beast.
I would like to see it cut some actual brush. It seems like a light duty cutter more for field mowing then brush cutting.

Super nice 🤠👍

john peyton lifting it that high is a death sentence, I’ll lift it a foot or two at most at the front only

Ryan S this 72” mower new is $6500
Good job!!!
What's the cost of machine and front bush hog. Thanks
Really interested in price of unit and attachment.have a great evening. Looking forward to hearing from you

Hi
Do you basically just use the float button when operating the Brushcat ?
Got a new 333g with extreme cutter.
How did you bid the job?
Hr or flat fee?
I know it must have taken days
Doug Willard actually it was bid at $2000 and I did it in 8 hours, it wasn’t too bad, not all areas were as thick as shown
Thanks for telling us how much you charged it’s helpful to get a realistic idea what we should be charging most fellas aren’t confident enough to tell you thanks again
I've been thinking about getting a set up like you have for my area. Are jobs hard to find with it or is the demand for use pretty steady?
what does your body feel like after a day on this machine? Looks like it was bouncing around some
Seat doesn't vibrate as much as the controls and gopro. Plus the seat is quite comfortable in the newer bobcats.
How much is this tractor worth and what's it called ?

Luke Wuckert the thin grass I hit 2 speed or about 10 mph, anything more than thick grass forget it, single speed only
What kind of tractor/flail mower do you have?
Can you see dead animals in the overgrown bushes while mowing? Like raccoons, rabbits or deer. How do you handle the situation.
clobbyhops I have not come across any dead animals, but I did a 7 acre field and lost count of rabbits and mice I kicked out
How would he handle the situation ? I guess with a pressure washer lol
@@NeXes42 hahahahahaha i was thinking the same thing. grind em up!

Are u using standard flow or high flow?

What did this whole setup here run you?
Whit3lightning 334 the T650 retailed for 60, the brushcat was used at $4500
Can a big man fit in one of these?
@Mo Chubby's Music thanks
Where did you get your rear view mirror?
It was factory installed from bobcat new, but I see similar on eBay or skidsteersolutiins.com
Invest in a bobcat back up camera. They are awesome
Brian Olinger got one on my brand new 650
