Winners of the PopCross Design Challenge are linked below. 3 people won hoodies and 7 people won all my ink Bundles! But before I get to that; this episode is a Godzilla Design Challenge, where I am taking 3 different versions of Godzilla and am fusing them with characters given to me out of pop culture from DempseyJ Illustrations and Katelyn McCaigue. It is also a banter episode with many Multiverse Tales favourite characters, but it is led by Benny Sharp and Dr Champagne McGreggor.
First I fuse the modern Legendary Godzilla and the one showing up in Monarch Legacy of Monsters with The Big Slammu from Street Sharks and the Ohmu from Studio Ghibli's Nausicaa and the Valley of the Wind.
Second, I fuse Zilla or GINO (Godzilla in name only) from the first American made Godzilla in the 90s with Aptom Omega from The Guyver and the Skullcrusher from How To Train Your Dragon.
Finally, I mix Shin Godzilla with the Sachiel the 4th Angel from Neon Genesis Evangelion and the Bazelgeuse from Monster Hunter World.

I am happy to see this come out and I love to see everyone else’s designs. Wish I had gotten chosen but honestly, I had fun and improved either way plus I’m inspired to enter more community redraws and challenges. Also, to the guy who mixed Maximum Mighty X Ex-aid, Zenkaijyu-oh, Omnimon, and Ultraman Blazar together: you’re freaking awesome man and the design was amazing.

I left here some questions and suggestions:
1.If you are going to do something related to Ninjago, I recommend that you take advantage of the merge to put together all the superhero universes that you used in the other videos.
2.Idea: Transform the four Chaos Gods of 40k (Khorne, Tzeentch, Nurgle and Slaanesh) into heroes. Not changing their essence but concentrating on the good of each Chaos God. For example Making the Khorne variant an honorable and brave hero who is sometimes a little overkill.
3. Do you plan to do something related to Adventure Time because of how well the Fionna and Cake series is doing?

Some video ideas/requests.
- Wings of Fire Dragons as Folktale Beasts, I can imagine coming up with ideas for that series can be challenging, but I think turning these dragons into traditional monsters could make for a good episode.
- FNAF as a zombie apocalypse story part 2. A concept that started out weird but ended up really good, I think I speak for a lot of folks when I say I'd be thrilled about a sequel.
- Subnautica Creatures as Xenomorphs, Bustar Terminax would be in love with the creatures without the xenos, tracking aliens there would be like an early birthday present for him.
- Overwatch Characters as D&D Characters, more official characters and story events have been released since the series was put on hiatus, and it's been a while since you've done a dnd episode.
- Not an idea for a specific video but I was wondering if you would consider adding Mass Effect to your list of pop culture universes, it's a sci-fi RPG with different choice options, and loads of unique characters, I think you'd like it.
I'd be interested in learning what you think of these ideas.

This episode was so hype! All your designs were awesome; number 2 and 3 could've fully passed for original designs in my eye if I hadn't known the context of the episode because you've mixed them all perfectly. The contest winners were also awesome, and there were so many cool designs in the quick flashes too!

This was incredible. I've been a fan of your monster/kaiju themed videos since they always have great designs as well as interesting stories to share, and I've always been a fan of Godzilla since I grew up loving all of his iterations...plus its Godzilla, what more is there to say. So seeing you draw some amazing Godzilla’s that are a combination of different characters is incredible. I especially loved Spider-Gwen x Swampert x Sub-Zero’s and Miles Morales x Vi x Green Lantern x Ben 10’s designs the most. The Big Ohm Zilla (Legendary Godzilla x Big Slammu x Ohmu)’s gives off that well armoured fighter look to him that's ready to prove his metal while at the same showing others that he’s more than just a warrior and can be a true protector...plus I love how it still maintains the instantly recognizable and iconic Legendary Godzilla look with that iconic and classic Street Shark inclusion and adding some studio Ghibli is just perfect, The Omega God Crusher (Zilla x Aptom Omega x Skullcrusher)’s gives off a cool draconic creature look that's willing to fight the good fight and shows just how much of a top predators he can be...plus I love how he rocks the Zilla look as well as looking great with all of those Aptom Omega powers with some aesthetic touches from Skullcrusher (HTTYD is amazing), Shin Angel Guise (Shin Godzilla x Fourth Angel x Bazelguise)'s design gives off that feel of a well armed fighter that's willing to show everyone what type of power it wields while showing it’s own unique powers and showing why it should be feared...plus this design really shows both the Iconic Shin Godzilla look with the Fourth Angel look, and mixing in the Bazelguise from Monster Hunter was the chef’s kiss. This was an amazing video with an amazing topic...and I like it. I'd love to see you turn some more of these design challenge themed videos since I think there is still so much more to tell. I'd also be ok with seeing you do a video on drawing some of these characters as either kaijus, SCPs, different versions Superheroes or as mech/fantasy armours, since I think that would be pretty interesting...plus if its the case for armours, I think Benny and Vasilia would have a blast, and it would be fun to see Benny and Vasilia come up with armour ideas based on some of these powerful beings and perhaps even work on a joint project and make a fantasy-mech armour hybrid. It was also fun seeing Benny and Champagne talking with the rest of the Sharp gang on their experiences with Godzilla-sequel creatures. 0:18 Its a bummer that I didn’t win the hoodie or ink bundles but I can’t really complain since I had a lot of fun with this design challenge and I was up against some incredible competition. Congrats to KGB_art_factory, Trisolcrown and Dannykside_art for winning those amazing hoodies as well to the seven magnificent artists who one the ink bundles…you guys did amazing and I loved all of your art. It was also nice seeing DEMPSEYJ Illustrations and Katelyn Mccaigue for giving you the amazing characters to fuse with the various takes on Godzilla because they all turned out great. I’m also really excited for the next Design Challenge you do since I had a lot of fun with this one and it’s awesome that I get to show my love for pop culture through my art and it would be amazing to share it with everyone(and getting another chance to potentially win something is also great)…it’s still awesome that you loved my character when I posted it on Instagram, I’m happy that you liked it. I also can’t wait to see how Mara’s story continues in the multiverse tales episodes. Great job as always Christian and I can’t wait to see what you draw on Monday’s video.
P.s. do you think you could do a video of turning dinosaurs into mech armours? Cuz I want to see how Benny Sharp and Champagne McGregor would get along. Also do you think you could do a video we’re you turn Disney princesses into witches. Also could you try something with Apex Legends?
Well, I won't be able to finish the video yet because I have to go to work now, but I definitely like what I'm seeing, and I will definitely be checking out the other two design challenge videos! Also, again, shout-out to everyone who won via their submissions (sorry you didn't get picked, Olivia Nealer; still hope you had fun making the drawing though).
And even though I didn't make my own submission, I did have an idea for a three-fold design: something along the lines of Guts from Berserk, Moon Knight, and Batman.

It's all good, Inky Wells. :) I had loads of fun working on my four-fold design; it may look deceptively simple, but it took weeks and weeks of planning to sort out a good balance between blending distinct elements from the base characters (what's too much VS what's enough), while making the fusion its own character. The most challenging parts of the piece were the hairstyle (balancing Uraraka's bob cut with Xayah's braided bangs) and especially the feather cape; I've NEVER done a cape before, let alone a segmented one in motion! But the risk paid off beautifully, and I'm very proud of the cape and its gradient pink colours. 😄😄😄
I'm also proud of the semi-transparent gauntlet and armour boots. I drew inspiration for their composition from the character Armour from Marvel, and from 2023 Marvel Comic Scarlet Witch's hair (in concept art, it trails off into pinkish-red wavy magic particles). Everyone else's submissions -- both the winners and the participants -- were absolutely EXTRAORDINARY!!! Also, I deeply appreciate that you rooted for me. ☺
And I'm not too bummed. I have BIG plans for my submission for the upcoming Deity September/October Community Redraw...........

The way you describe the process really emphasizes how much care and effort went into making this fusion, and now I'm sitting here thinking "what has she got cooking up for the Deity Redraw?". Either way, I can't wait to see what you're coming up with, and I hope you're having just as much fun making this one as you did your four-fold.
And I love that positive attitude you had on the whole matter. Everyone else's drawings where manufacturing done (even the seven who received the ink bundles near the end), but I have no doubt that your submission would've been just as extraordinary to see as well!

But I'm a bit confused by what you said in regards to the contest winners' submissions being "manufacturing done". Are you referring to the majority of the winners being digital artists? I must admit: digital artworks have all sorts of beautiful details I would only dream of effectively incorporating into my pen-and-paper pieces (gradient blends, complex balances of lighting and shading, shapes fading into flowing misty tendrils). But I am resourceful. :) I find that the advantage of using inks and colour pencils is that I can create my own kinds of gradient blends and pull off the illusion of transparency through an overlay of soft pencil sketches and thicker inks.

As for your pen and paper art style, I never did take into account the advantages one could pull off using those kinds of techniques. I'm kinda interested in hearing more about other ways you use pen and paper to your advantage.

For Godzilla Fusion Suggestions, I would LOVE to see a Fusion of Godzilla(Minus One or Legendary), Safi'Jiiva, Aurelion Sol, and ShineGreymon the most! It would be the most EPIC and POWERFUL!
Another Fusion that would be Epic to see could be Godzilla Ultima, Deviljho, Sin Gomorahh(Bayonetta 3), and Dromi(god-Eater 3)!
For Kaiju Suggestions, how about Koraidon as a Guardian Poke-Kaiju, and either Mario Mech and Yoshi Kaiju vs Bowser Kaiju or Spyro Guardian Dragon Kaiju vs Power-hungry Ripto Kaiju? And more Giant Robots, like Mighty Morphin Power Ranger Green Dragonzord, Grimlock, Beast Wars T-Rex Megatron/Trypticon, and Gojulas Zoid/King Gojulas Zoid as Kaiju would be Epic!
For Monster Hunter Suggestions, I really want to see more Monster-Hunter Pokemon Fusions! Like Koraidon X Nergigante, Charizard X Rathalos, Salamence X Tigrex, Tyranitar or Baxcalibur X Glavenus, and Naganadel X Espinas!
And as per-usual, for Off-Topic Suggestions, SCP-682 as a T-Rex or Indominus Rex/Ultimasaurus, Giratina as Rebelious Demon, and ShineGreymon as a Fantasy Dragon!

What was referred to as the Skullcrusher from How to Train Your Dragon, is actually called the Rumblehorn. Skullcrusher was just the name of the Rumblehorn that Stoick trained. (HTTYD is my favorite series and I have been waiting so long to be able to use my vast knowledge)

Amazing Video once again, I got into your stuff during covid and it’s no insane to see the improvement you’ve made since then.
But now I also come bearing suggestions
1. Venomized Doom because one symbiotic demons could pose some insane designs and I think the story of a symbiotic apocalypse hell where doomguy harnesses a Symbiote to channel is now increasing unending rage is very sick to me lol.
2. Doom demons as xenomorph’s because I’ve really enjoyed bustar terminax as a narrator and demon aliens is just a nuts combo. If doomguy was incorporated as a legendary murderous hunter in a realm of cute creatures (in the eyes of bustar) that could be an interesting conflict

Peppino Spaghetti from Pizza Tower - a retired wrestler, now owner and head chef of a pizza restaurant who recently found himself in massive debt to some very dangerous people. In a last ditch effort at salvation he dusted-off his wrestling past, and joined a seedy tournament in hopes of winning the prize (added the part about him being a former wrestler, because most of his attacks in the game resemble pro-wrestling moves)
MT Foxtrot from Cruelty Squad - a corporate cyborg assassin sent to the tournament by his corporate overlords to dispatch any contestants with a position of power, and use a possible victory as a vehicle for the corporate takeover of the other realms
Le'garde from Fear and Hunger - a warrior from Edenia who joined the tournament to bring peace to all the realms, by merging them all and ruling over them as a god
O'saa, Marco, and Levi from Fear and Hunger 2 - contestants from Earthrealm. FINALLY MORE HTTYD IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
This was a fun, all the art in the episode was really good. I have an idea for an episode that involves Metal Hellsinger or it’s main character The Unknown. Here is what the story is about…. (By the way it’s a episode that involve ultra violent video game characters in a D&D story. It should be called The Unknown and the 9 Hellish Realms)
The Unknown (a Tiefling who was banished by the Red Judge who also took her voice) to go through 9 realms with her team of adventures which consist of a bounty hunter Fallen Aasimar (Dante from Devil May Cry), a demon slaying paladin (Doom Guy), a demon slaying witch who knows how to beat people up with we feet (Bayonetta), and a powerful human Sorcerer who uses a powerful Gauntlet to summon his attacks (Jak from Immortals of Aveum). The story ends up dealing with bosses that are from all of the games I mentioned, and ends with a D&D version of the Red Judge from Metal Hellsinger
The narrator is the Skull that tags along with the Unknown (which contains the soul of the Unknowns lover, Paz), also he has a southern draw to his voice (for research, just watch some cutscenes for Paz’s voice).

I also think a Certain dragon episode deserves a part 2 and even add a new character to the series… here’s that idea
Spencis Charnas Origin
After studying the Honey-Hook Wyvern, I end up seeing a couple of knights from the Las Angels Guard working on a quest about the death of a women who has connections to a specific person they were looking for which has a connection to these dragons I was studying. So I was lead to this carnival of carnage we’ll call it which had some of the dragons I talked about already like the Fanged Jester, the Scorched Nightmare, The October Slow Stalker, and the 4 other dragons that I mentioned already. It made me remember the times I went to the kingdom where Willis Afterian used his so called dragons as attractions which is now a different kingdom entirely at this point and the kingdom has been destroyed by the time I’m telling you about him.
But I also saw and interview the owner of this place and his name was Spencis Charnas. He was wearing a suit that resembled half of a Scorched Nightmare and a Crystal Lake Camp Stalker with half of his face (well 25% of his face) covered with the fake skull of one of these dragons. But he also was holding a cane with a skull on top of the handle and wore (just for show) a bladed glove which represented the right hand of a scorched nightmare. He told me that he was really fascinated about these dragons sense he was little when he encountered the same exact October Slow Stalker that I studied that was caged here, which he said inspired someone to kill his sister, her friends, and even his parents which he ended up killing him in self defense but also he was a kid at the time and I don’t know if a kid could kill a full grown adult. Then he told me other things about him like he is the leader of a traveling folk story group that tells tales of these dragons.
But when he said that I did see when studying the Crystal Lake Camp Stalker that there were these lines of their little tale in the area which said…
"He Drowned in all our sins
He drowned in our mistakes
Fueled by the flood, we pay in blood
The curse of Crystal Lake"
And then I forgot about when I studied the Honey-Hook Wyvern I saw these lines which read….
"Left to die under the sun
The hive never spared anyone
How 'bout the hand for the honey bees
Hooked on the creed of their colony"
The most messed up part about the writing is that they were written in the blood of the dead bodies that were at the area where they were written.
Also Spencis told me about this place’s history and the dragons that he really wants in here and he even gave me the privilege to study them after hours when the place closes since he knew I was the Overseer of this world and knew how much I liked studying mythical beast, he would even asked me to create more of these types of dragons if I wanted too.
Then I asked him the big question that I think he knew I was gonna ask which was….
Why is the Las Angels Guard after you?
He told me more about his past where he was connected with the case of the death of Elias Black who was the alchemist who would help Spencis with his nightmares while he was traveling with his group which he told me that the fanged jester that was caged here, which I remembered that I studied that exact same fanged jester tortured Elias and killed him and now he is connected to the death of the women that I heard about which turned out is his Fiancé and the Las Angels leader Captain Harris isn’t stopping until he is behind bars. But Spencis told me that he knows who really killed her and he won’t stop until the real killer pays for what he has done.
But then I shook his hand and then left after talking to him and he even asked me if I was coming to opening night of the carnival and I told him yes and he told me these four words that I won’t forget "Sometimes…. Dead is Better." Which ended up gave me a shiver that went down my spine for some reason.
Then the big night came and Spencis Sang one of his songs with his group which was the Anthem to this place.
Then Spencis say these three words that would end up sticking with me every time I go to this place no matter if this place is opened or not which were…

(For context the character of Spencis is based off of Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas as a ringmaster like character, and The Honey-Hooked Wyvern and the Christal Lake Camp Stalker are based off of Candyman and Jason Voorhees respectively)
