Followed your video and installed the same kit today. Thanks! Other than having to use my own dielectric grease because mine didn't come with it, everything you showed was spot on.
Guys question I have a 20’ and had fog lights do I still gotta get the plug and play for the headlights to the bezel ? Since when I do my turning singles don’t work ?
Just one critique: Dielectric grease is a silicone based insulator. You don't put it on the mating surfaces or pins of electrical connections. You can put it around it and on the rubber boots. Other than that, great video and nice ride!
Hello. Excellent video, I only have a question ... I bought mine and recently installed them in a workshop, I took advantage of them while installed other things to the car. The point is, the fogs light will not turn on as long as you don't have the main lights on? I thought these fogs light would turn on like the 'day light'(DRL) of the front headlights(C-light).
Help...My fuse does not fit in that location in the fuse box. It only fits in the 30AMP lowbean fuse. So my fog DRLs do not come on. Is there someting im missing?
I believe they should work, on the website it says 2018+ wrx/sti. Just might need to buy the hyper flash module with them and a different PnP harness that they sell as an option.
Awesome video my man! I really love the step by step instructions...Will use this video to install my bezel with foglights and another video for my diode lights. Thanks bro! liked and subbed.
Yes, but even the dtrl on the head lights turn off when I pull the handbrake. Ok, just asking, and thank you for your video. I literally just installed mine following your video. Thank you so much.
You are welcome :) Also since these are connected to the fuse box for power these turn on whenever the car is is on. I’m sure you could switch where you get the power for these instead of the fuse box, possible try to run it off the headlight harness and you might be able to make it turn off with the headlights
@@BeeAboveAverage Yes all I had to do was switch the bezels and only the signals is 1 small thing that bothers me, I’m used to it, I’m just wondering why they’re going inwards instead of out
I stumbled upon a dilemma where the turning signals are blinking too fast, is it because I didn’t purchase the plug and play kit or is it something else ?
It already came like that with one of them snipped off. I know sometimes they do it for you and sometimes not, but you do need to cut one off for it to fit in that location for power.
On the bezel, the side closest to the center of the bumper is a little lip you have to make sure you get in the right spot onto the bumper otherwise It will fight you. It’s a longer tab unlike all the smaller tabs on the bezel that you have to snap in. It wouldn’t snap in for me till I had those perfectly lined up. Hope this makes sense and helps you out.
Just take a part the harnesses where the 2 gray conections are cut both gray connections you will end up with just one yellow wire tap that yellow wire to the yellow wire on the turn signal.. leave the brown one alone. And done deal.
I wish I knew about the plug and play kit before I took the bumper off, thanks for the video
This is the best DRL install video I've seen by a mile. Thanks!
Love the transition on removing the bumper
(thanks for the video definitely using this weekend)

Where did you get the plug and play kit?
What are the cables you connected to the directionals called and where did you buy them?
How can I find those extra wires you bought

Whenever I turn my turn signal on, the opposite side would start blinking any idea how to fix that?
did you ever figure this out?
Link for the turn signal harness ? And do you need one in each side and if so do they come in a pair, thank you
Where did you end up putting the wires with the on and off switch? I just did mine and I'm looking for a good spot, thank you.
Did you get the extra harness?

You need to cut one of the tabs off the fuse tap. Annoying that they don't tell you that but it will fit after that ☺️
Really good video! You were very detailed during the installation!
if i have a 2015 wrx without the headlight indicators but facelift bumper, will this still work?
I was wondering the same thing about my 2018 WRX. I assume we don't have to buy the separate plug and play wiring harness.
How tf did you get the positive into that connecter??? I'm struggling
Same. It looks like he took one prong (right side) of the connector off. Mine sure as hell doesn’t fit….
Question, did you lose the turn signals on the mirror or were yours not working?
I love this channel. Watching your injector swap video gave me the balls to try it on my own. Channel is super underrated. Keep up the great content!
Thank you so much man! Really does mean a lot to me 😁
Where can I get the turn signal wire harness ?
Ebay
Do you know if these will work on a 2018 WRX premium without any trimming due to the fog lights?
I believe they should work, on the website it says 2018+ wrx/sti. Just might need to buy the hyper flash module with them and a different PnP harness that they sell as an option.

I’m glad you liked the video man! It really does mean a lot to me when someone likes the video or subscribes to the channel :)
If I don’t have turn signal on my headlight I can just ignore that extra plug and play adapter right ?
What did you end up doing bro ?
Can you link the blinker harness I got this kit off subi speed and I don’t wanna tap into my factory wiring!
I believe this is the one I used. subiebros.com/2018-wrx-limited-and-sti-turn-signal-plug-and-play-harness/
Any issues with the paint chipping or fading?
Maybe this guy will respond but if he doesn’t, does anyone know what brand that lip is? It looks like a CS style but what brand?
This is the lip that I bought. Hope this helps! OLM CS Style CF Front lip On My 2018 Subaru STI

Make a bezel video for a Subaru legacy replacement
Have u thought of putting your license plate in the center.
Your car would look alot cleaner?
If you dont get the wiring harness kit (the extra one) will it just run drl indefinitely?
Yea that’s how my wrx is running and I have no turning signal in front 🥲
What kind of headlights are those?
Thank you for this video! You made the install of my 2020 sti easy.
do you need to lift the car to remove the bumper?
Are they supposed to stay on at all times? I turn off my headlights and they stay on. I want them to turn off with the headlights
They are daytime running lights so they do stay on even with the headlights off

Any idea why my turn signal on my bezels signal inwards instead of outwards like yours?
Did the led come pre installed already into the bezel when you purchased it?

Yo can anyone point me in the right direction to find that extra harness he bought? My bezels didnt come with it so i need to find it
Any luck finding it ?
@ yea its on amazon
Did you have to get the diode dynamics smart tap?
Great installation video! Very detailed and easy to follow thanks alot

Thank you! Great video, I was able to install mine following your steps!
how does this work on the premium model with the turn signals in the fog bezel?
Two years late but I did the install with instead of the oem fog lights and now I’ve got fast blinkers

It help a lot bro thanks and great video its very detailed
