Boy hard lesson learned with the bronze washers and the unit locking up. I learned the hard way so be very mindful on how you are putting the bronze washers back on. I called MGW and He told about this video, only then did I learned how the washers need to be set. Little embarrassed to say the least. I was able to get my sites changed out on my Glock 17 with ease. Thanks for the support and the great product.
Hey MGW, I must have an older model of the sight pusher because it does not have the Allen end in the support smooth end of the T-handle assy. How can I change the pusher block.
the shaft is left hand threaded and you can clamp the shaft in a lathe collet or vise with protective jaw inserts. we also sell the upgraded shaft for only 10 bucks at 706-793-1770
I just bought one of these tools from Midway. I have been able to use it but I cannot seem to get the pusher block as close to the slide as I would like. It is contacting the rear sight (Sig P226) at about midway down. Any ideas?
the white block up top is factory set to be within .010"-.014" from the top of the slide. check the screw on top of the upper to make sure its not screwed in causing the white block to sit lower. also, you can remove one of the shims inside the white block ann then manially adjust the height with the same upper screw
I just bought the 309 Glock tool off Midway - can you replace jigs on that model or is that only something you can do on the universal version shown in this video. Little bummed if I ever buy straight profiled sights and have to buy a whole new tool for them...
you can change the blocks out like the rangmeaster on the 309 tool but the block for the rangemaster is NOT the same. You will need to call us to get that block 706-793-1770
I just ordered mine from Midway today. Should be here next week. It looks like the newest version is different from the 2016 video. I tried to go to the MGWARMORY.COM website and it was just a link to Facebook. Are you guys still improving and altering the design? Will you produce a new video showing the newest model and how you recommend usage? Also where exactly do you recommend adding oil and what type of oil is recommended for use?
we are always tweaking the design due to customer feedback but the overall design and method of usage has not changed ovber the years so the 2016 video is still relevant. and type of light oil works. also some people even use a small dab of anti seize but it gets messy lol.
we only support spare parts and service direct. You must buy our tools thru distributors like MIDWAY USA BROWNELLS RSR GROUP ARMS UNLIMITED LANCO TACTICAL TOP GUN SUPPLY
Great product and great tutorial. I wish all "how-to" videos from manufacturers were so concise.

Extremely glad I seen this before buying
Any chance you can link a PDF document so I can print out and leave next to the tool so the next person knows how to put the washers in
Fantastic video. Great info. Thanks!

Excellent, , I can have a pusher for both the 309 & 309S with one tool.I I ordered the 309S block for my 309 tool.
Is there usually a little left right wiggle on the block?
yes we leave about .020" gap left to right so the block does not bind up.

@@MGWINC Thank you!
When pushing a 1911 slide. Which side do I push from? Left or right?
I always like to turn the t-handle CLOCKWISE when pushing out sights so that would be left to right with muzzle facing away
@@MGWINC thank you.
