Thanks for this post, this inspired me to do the same. I had to be creative to tuck the module into a safe spot, but these are as close to plug and play as it gets!
You dont have to take those two bolts out to remove the light unit. Just those two little screws. Also removing the bulb you just need to open the spring that holds the bulb. No need to remove that little screw.
Thanks for the info! I figured about the screws, but it was after I had done the rest. Makes sense about the spring, but I hadn't thought about it before. Will remember for next time, haven't swapped out the high beams yet.
I don't drive too much at night with the disco, but I haven't had any.flashes yet. I also haven't switched over the brights. Wanted to check the lows before switching, and just haven't had the time for the brights yet. So far it's a way better experience than the old halogens.
That would have been too smart 😅. Just didn't think of it at the time to clean them and put something on them. I'll have to pull them back out and do that.
These lights are blinding too coming traffic too bright nobody thinks how the opposite direction of traffic feels ifthey cannot see the road im a truck driver who hates to drive at night because of these lights that looks like their high beams on add fog lights that are bright light this an accident waiting to happen
You gave yourself a lot of extra work but you finally got it done. Live and learn? Good job on the video.
That I did. I tend to do that the first time around, but as you say, Live and Learn.

Wow😍 !!! The Disco looks so modern 👌🏼
Looks pretty good though 😎
Hi, did you end up replacing the high beam?

How are these holding up?
How do you like driving at night with them after getting accustomed to them? Any flashes from oncoming drivers? How are the brights?

Still happy with them? High beams?
When the bolts where so tight why did you not clean them up and copper slip them.before you put them back in ?

do the new LEDs have a blue tint?
I had not noticed a tint at all, but perhaps.
The bolts are beam adjusters only and need not be removed. Didn’t you do your homework? 🙈😱🤷♂️🙅♂️
