Darwin Runs Again after IVDD!

Darwin, a 7-year-old Bichon Frise, presented to SEVN for back pain after falling off the bed. MRI revealed a disc herniation, and he was immediately taken into spinal surgery.
IVDD in dogs can be described as a herniated disc, slipped disc, ruptured disc, or bulging disc, depending on the type of damage that occurs. When a disc swells or ruptures, it can compress the spinal cord, affecting a dog’s ability to walk.
Thanks to the expertise of the SEVN team and the support of his family, Darwin is happily swimming and running again.
