Hi Meanqueen, you are looking fantastic. It must be all your walking that keeps you in shape. Thanks for the shopping tips. I will ask my supermarket store manager about their restocking and price reduction schedule for optimal bargain hunting. Keep up the good work! I hope you have a happy Resurrection Sunday.

I freeze mushrooms. They do go a bit dark and watery, but in stir try it's fine. They go a bit stinky in the fridge if I leave them too long, freezing stops me throwing them away. You could make some yogurt lollies, blend some of your raspberries up, stir into yogurt and freeze in little portions. Pound shops have little lollipop moulds you can use over and over. I'm in the States, I know some supermarkets do reduce prices in NY. But food pantries are doing a lot of food rescue so they have agreements with the shops and that's where the near expiration dated foods end up.

Great buys there and not all processed stuff. I never seem to find bargains like that here, never reductions as good as that. Maybe I'm going too early. Xx
Perhaps try going to your supermarket at different times, and ask the staff what would be a good time to catch the bargains. Each store has their own methods.

@@ladolcevitauk1474 Hello. You could find a house for 100k in the north east or north west. Keep away from the touristy areas as they will be more expensive. You might find something in parts of North Yorkshire, a lovely area if you like countryside. My friend sold her semi in Hampshire and moved to Cleveleys a few miles north of Blackpool. Some decent savings there. Tesco's Hearty Food Co. Penne Pasta 500G 29p would work out cheaper though. 1200g of that would cost 70p, as a comparison, saving 30p overall on the cost of the fresh pasta. Daresay the fresh pasta tastes nicer though and it's nice to have a treat now and again. x
