It doesn't really matter. The content is the main thing. Your employer will still train you for the care certificate and all sort

Hello, in Florence Academy, Can I just select the 15 courses out from the various courses on Florence academy platform? Its seems they have up to about 50 courses that cut across senior and Junior carers to nurses. Is it ok to select any of the 15 courses out of the many courses on Florence academy?

Mr P, my concern about the training centre in Lagos is that their certificate may not be accredited by the responsible accreditation board in the UK. Having the level 3 is the perfect qualification but who is their awarding body and do they have the accreditation from UK board?.
Yes, they confirmed everything on their site in response to my email. Feel free to do your own due diligence. All the best!

I just registered with LPTC in Lagos for level 3. Of course their awarding body is an accredited board in UK (ATHE). Furthermore the training gives you three different certificates. However just like Peter said, you should do your due diligence.

Hello, I just subscribed to your channel....very informative....so I read on gov.uk website that to get 20 points for skilled worker visa( healthcare visa) you need to have job offer is at the appropriate skill level (RQF Level 3)
My question is the 15 standard care certificate is equal to the RQF level 3?

Nice to see that you are researching and reading yourself. If you read that document also l, it mentions that the RFQ 3 is not an academic qualification but SKILLS at that level. Therefore, you don't need to worry about that.
For the record though, the care certificate is not up to RFQ 3.

You need to get a job first, please. It is the job that potentially qualifies you for the visa. It is a work visa

Hello, just came across your channel and it’s an eye opener. Please I have a question. For those of us who do not have any experience or background at all in healthcare, is it mandatory for us to go and train or work in a clinic or hospital for some months before we can apply to this program?
Secondly do I need to complete the clinical section of the Florence academy course for caregiver route or is this section strictly for senior carers and nurses? Thanks and looking forward to your response.

Regarding your 1st question, it is NOT mandatory but very advisable. You can apply for this role while trying to get a place for some experience.
Secondly, you don't have to complete the clinical section. It's beyond the standards of the care certificate.

Hmm, UK is a bit conservative. That is why I have only shown courses that are oriented towards the UK Care standards

Alison is also a UK firm that render free courses for people. There's a UK nurse that even listed Alison as one of the places you can get free online caregiver course. So I think it is UK oriented. Mr. Peter please check it out as well.

Again have been seeing that the carer job comes with a sponsored visa... But I still hear people do say you'll have to pay for the visa depending on the duration, so I'm like why is it called sponsor visa if the employer won't pay for it themselves, please hope you get this question??

Yes, you heard me well because to start a career in caring, you really don't need any experience though it is desirable.
Secondly, it is sponsored because the employer has to give you a job and convince the home office that you are the best for the job (no one in the UK is suitable 😊) in order to allow you enter the UK. However, who pays for the visa is a question of your signed contract

Your husband can become anything he likes in the UK in as much as he can get the necessary requirement. To mention, truck drivers need an HGV license in the UK. Once, he has that, nothing can stop him.

Dear Peter, is it normal if the course provider ask for additional fee to the certificate after I pay for the courses? Because I enrolled at one provider and I need to make another payment after completing the courses to obtain the ceritficate.

Is this on Reed? First of all, it's not normal (not a good practice) but if you check the course details properly again, you will likely discover that it was stated in the course description. Lesson: always read the course description & terms ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE CHEAP COURSES
