It was magical watching you put in the final details! The overall look of the painting is soft and muted but those details are crisp and clear. Magic! Thank you for another gorgeous painting, and tutorial.
Thank-you for this video, lovely Rae 😍 👌 👍 I've had COVID this week and I was feeling pretty miserable until I saw this gorgeous video- thank-you for helping me so much 🎉❤💖🤗✨️🐝
My word, that is splendid Rae. You are on a roll 🌷🌷 thank you for this beautiful tutorial, I can’t wait to clear up some time to attempt this beauty ❤️
I love your work and wanted to support it so I bought your brushes. Do I need more brushes? No, not at all. But I’ve come to trust you in matters of art. So I figured I’d probably really enjoy your brush set. Thank you 😊
Hi Rae - Could you please give alternative colours Windsor Newton in your description section then one can get colours together before following your painting tutorial ? Thanks
Hi. I can’t put them in the description but I can tell you here… for dragonfly use Winsor blue green shade. Wildberry use perm rose with a bit of Perylene violet. For the soft peach where I used a diluted form of prickly pear, you could use something like buff titanium with a bit of pery violet, and you could mix sap with Winsor blue green shade as mentioned earlier. Many of these colours will need to be mixed with a lot of water to give them the subtle colour that I’ve used. Hope this helps.
Oh I’m so pleased. Sure. Use sap green for the green. You can darken that with Paynes grey or indigo, and if you have got Winsor blue green shade you could mix that in to give it the vibrancy. For petal colours you could use a watered down version of permanent rose with a tiny bit of any brown colour that you have but lots of water. Hope this helps x
Did you You can slow the video down quite easily. There’s a toggle switch underneath. You can adjust by slowing down to half speed etc. It’s how I talk. Sorry. I’m neurodivergent and tend to talk quickly
