He is absolutely amazing!!! So much better than any Jack Skellington you can buy in the store! Your Jack is the best!! The painting is exceptional! I love how you decided on a darker white, not a bright white, and the way you added the gems on the brooch for texture and making it more fancy. Love this so much!!! I must make him now!! Thank you for sharing your awesome projects!
Oh wow! Thanks a lot! This is such a sweet comment. I'm happy you like him! It's one of my favorite thing displayed on my wall. He's taking so much space, and he is so joyful. I'm sure you would make a stunning Jack!
Hi! Thank you! You're so nice, as usual! 😍 That's a great idea. I can really see him hanging on a door. I will try to find a place for him on my wall, for now. So we can see him a bit in futur videos. But if he doesn't fit (because he's huge), I will put it on a door. Thanks!
I’m blown away, Val! What an artist! Jack Skellington is such an awesome character, and you really nailed it!👏👏👏👏💖✨💀😄 Actually, I’ve always thought it would be fun to dress up like Jack, but should probably just stick to being Oogie Boogie.😂🤭
Love your videos Val! They always put me in a positive mood! No notes here, just a request. There is so much spooky I.P.out there but I’d love to see your take on the Halloween classics like witch, ghost or jackolantern.
Thank you. I'm very happy to know you like my videos! 😊 That's a great idea. Soon, I will make a witch doll for my series "Are you Afraid of 90's Craftings?" Also, I made tiny witches and a tiny ghost (for that very series), if you didn't see that already. It's at 20 minutes: th-cam.com/video/ZV6flk4Bg0Q/w-d-xo.html Thanks for being, here and sharing your ideas! 💖
Well it was well worth the wait! Thank you so much. He turned out so great! I love him and I love the lighting that you put behind him. Not sure how you pulled that off. Now you mention mod podge several times and I don't know what that is. Of course I could look it up but I would like to know from the expert what does that do for him. Thanks! It was an incredible video.
Thanks a lot. 😁 I'm glad you like him! For the colored light (behind him), it's just the shadow of two spots I put in front of him (one red, one blue). I agree, it looked nice! You're right for the Mod Podge. I should have told what it does, in the video. I think it's because I'm using Mod Podge in every crafting video, so I assumed people knew. I'm using it to protect my paint. It's like a varnish. I used the "matte" one for my Jack, but there's a lot of different types of Mod Podge. It also give more dept to the paint (more contrast). And it also hardens the cardboard. It's a must have for crafters! Thanks for watching and for your great comments! 👻
