    Comparatively a lot of things in SA and in other countries are similarly priced. Some things is really expensive in the EU, USA, and Australia. But what really makes a difference is the weak rand making it harder to get value for your money.

    Do they have a natural peanut butter in Sud Afrika which has the oil separate from the peanut paste, then you know its natural?

    Everywhere the cost of everything.is skyrocketing.This includes food.The destitute vulnerable people surviving in shacks could never afford even any.basics.in.that
    Supermarket.
    The government should prioritise creation of subsidised food banks for those genuinely in.need.
    Increase heavy taxation on.the stinking rich.eg.some residents of Sandton.This should be channeled to funding new social.housing improving medical facilities and strengthening the application.of.law and
    order. Will this.ever.happen?

    A gallon of milk cost about $6 here in Boston, MA and most of the milk is kept in the cold section but we also have milk that is powdered on the shelf… bread ranges in price from $2.00-5.00 it depends on the brand, quality & type. We have all kinds sandwich loaf bread like you showed we use it to make toast also and then we have bread that needs to be baked Etc…. But our grocery stores don’t have tv’s & speakers this store looks like a walmart to me walmart here has all that but not the average grocery store! That’s cool and yep I am a wine drinker do you all have dollar or 99ct stores? These are great videos and we call that snack here is America beef jerky! Seasoned dry meat

    • @AfricaTekk
      @AfricaTekk  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Interesting. 99ct stores? as in like everything in the storeis 99ct? no we don't have that.

    • @definedbydgbeautyllc7371
      @definedbydgbeautyllc7371 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AfricaTekk Yes and they are run by asians usually the 99ct stores but we also have stores that are called dollar general, family dollar and the things range from $1 but they can be more 🙄🤣but not too expensive dollar stores also have food, clothes, electronics, cooking pots, household items, toiletries like tissue paper & paper towels etc…. Anything basically like a cheaper walmart… also my favorite toilet paper to buy here in the states is scott tissue paper it is 1ply 1,000 sheets per roll lol

    It looks just like a supermarket in Toronto. And yes, we have neighbourhoods where black and brown people are the majority and we all work well together. That is why my white cousins of Maltese origin who live in Sandrin stayed. They believe in South Africa!
