Sorry to hear about your chicken. One of ours had the same problem. Very upsetting. Thank you for the tips on the grape pruning, I’ll get on and do some thinning of the smaller bunches!
Hmmmmm interesting 🤔 I will try this on one of my vines this year. Muscadine do not grown in “clusters” but it makes sense to trim off that extra leggy bits to help the grapes mature and get more sun. With it being 102° plus in the hottest part of summer here maybe they will do ok. If not I’ll know better next year 👍 thank you

Great explanation about summer pruning grapes. I have no idea why your cherry tree is in this shape. But clearly you have to cutaway any dead wood.
