Great video EA! I actually like the super glue trick to cover up gaps since I recently used that kind of trick also to customize my gunpla. But for me I prefer the mix of superglue and baby powder to make a 'quick type putty' and after applying it to parts that I like to customize, spray it with diy super glue accelerator, which makes my work faster to finish

Thanks so much for a link to those chisels! I'm sure to use them to fix/make armor panels for my space marines and other projects. Now I just need a paycheck... : c
Appreciate your tutorial, very awesome, but this is more an advance or intermidiate lvl of building, at least for me that only know on how to build gunpla straight up. Btw, very good tutorial, i'll be using your knowledge when im getting there.
bandai: we introduce to you, entry grade, an easy version of the gundams for beginners this guy: hold my beer and watch me make this complicated (detailed) as fuck (This is awesome)
The key here is to make the model as realistic as possible. My approach is to avoid colors such as yellow, unless for decoration purposes. I want the model to appear as machine like as possible, while using metallic colors: chrome, gun powder black, copper and gold. My suggestions.
no disrespect, but this is a click bait and for some reason it showed up on my feed. it is pointless to teach a newbie an advance technique if what youre trying to do is to teach with an hg. based on the size and structure thats more or less an HG (feel free to correct me). theres no such thing as an entry level. anyone can build hg rg mg pg 1/100 etc since theres a manual, itll take time yeah, but the question is... how well would it be once built? an entry level builder wont be able to use a spray properly, you seem to be building kits for a long time so you should know, pressure, proximity of the spray gun and even humidity affects the paint, i even doubt if a newbie can use a brush, they might, but itll look bad ofc. padding the outer shell with plaplates is also advance, cutting, matching sides, sticking them up (esp using the glue), sanding, priming, painting these are all irrelevant to a newbie. these things take time to do properly, i dont think its a skill its more on practice, trial and error to be specific. lets say... if there are two builders who painted 2 spoons using the same tools do you think there would be a huge diff? there might be if the other one is an actual first timer. a newbie would buy a kit but only after that he will invest on tools (lets include scribing here which will just make things complicated) lets face it, tools cost a lot. its not a hobby for everyone bec of the time and effort it needs. so when you said that... I am teaching... so you are teaching newbies with an "entry" level kit? with advanced tools and practice that they dont even have? id say more if you included hatches and custom inner frame for an HG haha. so long story short... its a click bait and your message came in something like... hey look at me, i made a cheap kit look cool kind of statement and you ended up as... i want to teach people and show my skills. tbh you would barely know the diff if this is sitting close to a well built RG from a far. if this is an MG with hatches or probably there's something different from the usual rx7 like maybe a functional cockpit or a diff unique color scheme then i wont say a thing. What you did is more applicable to MGs since it gives out more room for modification and most of the MGs esp the old ones lack details. well an RG is already detailed and its stupid to add more details to it, a good paint job and decals would be enough or perhaps weathering if you are into the reality of war. again no disrespect to you lad. it just doesnt make sense. id buy an RG, do a good paint job, probably adjust the color scheme, throw some extra decals, add some metallics and thatll save you time, resources and effort with the same output. oh i didnt mention the snow on your desk after sanding.

Love watching people upgrade the Entry Grade. Looking forward to the rest of this.
Bandai makes an easier kit for begginers, then proceeds to assemble it in 30 minutes and spending the whole week making it more detailed than a PG
well that's irony
and beginners should assemble a rg model kit rather than a hg model kit
@@moisme_dyy Then they would break the rg, build an mg

Hi , after watch EA Gunpla video. You inspired me to buy A box MG Gundam 78-2. Now I'm trying my best plug in the kits. 😊☺️

Thank you for the tutorial ea. Great video as always. May I know what chisel sizes you always use for HG, RG, & MG? Terima kasih 😁
@yamaha1450 thank you 😁 just starting out scribing but I don't want to spend so much on unnecessary sizes

Does the mm of the scribe tape matter? If so how?
On the chisel sizes, how do i know what sizes (other than in the video) I should be using?

What is the orange plastic sheet you cut up and use?
It is confident to watch your video
Where do you get the extra plastic strip add-on parts from?
What size chisels do you recommend starting out for scribing 1/144 scale?
What kind of pla plate did you use to extend the waist?
Ea. Can I ask you something? How do you thin Tamiya acrylic paints? is it 1-1 or 1-2? I'm totally confused on how to airbrush acrylics.
I keep hearing people talk about "color separation", but can't find a definition anywhere. What does it mean in the modeling world?
Question that plastic mat you use to modify with…. Where can that be found
what material did you use to extend the lenght of the torso and joints?
amazing!
Please tell me the guide tape you are using!
do you put cement on the plastic strips before placing it then puiting cement again to secure it? 10:01
Ahhhh that panel lining is hot
Thanks man!! 🙇🏻♂️
Nice work, lot's of effort in here
Hi, you have gained a new suscriber!
i wanna try extending procedures but im scared that the ball joints will become too weak when it connects to its socket ._.
baru ad masa nk layan. hehe
every part must be sanded before priming and paining? I bought the GPaint starter and nothing is really sticking to the parts...
Primer is vert important if you want anything to stick
Are you cleaning parts before spraying?
@@JasonMcGuffin no I put everything on sticks straight from the sprue. GPaint is advertised as being pre mixed primerless paints
What is the yellow sheet that you are cutting to lengthen the torso at 0:50 of the video?
Wohoo finally. Been waiting for this! Thank you soo much
is it christmas where you live ?

What's the material being used to extend and what grade sandpaper is being used?
