Maybe you used to be a detailing geek 🤓, back in the day, however it seems like you have lost your ways. All I’m stating is that in the past year and a half asides from detailing the SRT 8 a day or so after he got it there hasn’t been all that much love shown to his cars. It would just be nice to see him bust out the orbital polisher and go to town on his cars. And yes I do realize his set up in Cali wasn’t the most conducive environment for detailing. But a true detailing fanatic would find a way.

I always love this channel been here for years!!! The one thing I LOVE about this channel is that I can relate to you. Your channel has a complete different feel to it verses all the other channels. It's always been Evan at home for a dads shop tinkering with the cars which I love. Most channels the bigger they get the more you tend to lose the relation you once had with the channel. This is my second NRG wheel and there is nothing bad I can say about them I have an E36 with all black interior, I was hesitant to add a silver/Wood wheel since its the only non black thing in the car but it just looks so classic and amazing with the car. Well built and very sturdy.

I did always wonder what would happen to the airbag light, I figured it was a resistor or something that needed to be plugged into the connector. Thanks for showing the install to us! That wheel looks 100% better than the existing one!
You might need the cruise control button I believe it was. If your planning on running e85 and running dual maps, because holding the cruise control button it will swap maps
You probs wont read this but the reason your battery sparked is because you're surpost to take the negative terminal off first when disabling the battery

LIKE IF YOU PREFER THE OEM WHEEL...Love all you did with the sc300, porsche, the sti, evo is gorgeous but be real that wheel doesn't belong. A round sparco / momo wheel a littler bigger as well will look wayy better.. stock wheel looks great as well 😞
Yes having an evo in red is the best color also. You can still put the livery on the evo all you need to do is get a rally art livery there are a lot of designs of them

Hey Evan, the car been 100K+ miles do you check tie rods, shocks, swaybar links and all tht things? Suspension parts always need a check up with a high milage car.
Evan, when always remove the ground battery terminal, not the hot!! When you're screwing on the hot terminal you can easily accidentally short out a circuit between the car and the battery (that's what happened here), and you can hurt your car(all of the electrical components could be oversurged), your battery, and yourself!!! Don't hurt yourself my dude
Also the ground behind the steering wheel will need to touch metal AND you need to push the horn button at the same time, since the horn switch is in the button and you are not creating a circuit without the switch
Can't wait to see what you got for us, I personally miss the STI in yours videos but it's not ours decision hopefully EVO will be the next badass to see and for you to drive because of that i want one and maybe next year will be it but don't know which one yet :)

I think the Evo would look amazing red and it would be cool to do a little "tribute" to the STi in a way. Steering wheel does look better than I thought as well, makes it look like more of a race car.

Back when I was in the market for a Subaru. I was planning on getting 15 sti at the time when they were coming out. One of my first mods I was planning for that car was that same momo wheel and the red jdm push start button. But ended up buying 2013 orange edition sti and never got that wheel. 🤗
Do what you did at 9:50 touch it to metal than connect the wheel and use the horn than it should work if you don’t want to connect the wheel just your your keys and just touch both metal dots on the quick release
I got to say I love your videos so don't worry about what other people have to say you are right do what you got to do now for your next problem that wire you're going to have to grind it off to that Center boat that's holding your steering wheel that's the best ground and best way to do it and that's how I've done all of mines and it'll work I don't like Texas you got to take the car in for inspection and if that doesn't work you're going to fail so I hope this helps you keep up the good work Evan

The quick release is universal. The wire you didn’t connect was a ground
Chris Lamborghini i have the same problem with my horn and qr.. What should I do with the ground? Just tape it on the hub? (For testing purposes.)
The quick release should come with a ring that bolts between the qr and hub adapter that has a prong for you to plug the ground into.
