At first I was surprised by the high production values. Then I realized you were just taking as much time and effort with the photography and editing as you were with the detail. Nice work on both counts.
It's definitely something some folks don't think about. The detail (as with all Sandro's vids) probably took 1.5 times longer due to having to find the right shot angle and set up the tripod. Then there's the fact he has to work at weird angles just to make sure the action is captured without body parts getting in the way. The editing might have been the part that took the longest, but only Sandro could speak to that. What we see in this 30 min vid probably took 5+ hrs of work. The cars take even longer.
Btw, Sandro, the AU Machine Polisher link is broken. It's pointing to some tape. Also, thanks for another great video!

I was thinking that detail would cost about 1/3 to1/2 of a new mower. Absolutely a labor of love, it looked better than brand new, Aloha from Maui
Good day Sandro, I work at a lawn mower and equipment repair shop..parts and service counter. We service various brands including John Deere. If you were our customer, coming in for service, I think we’d pay you for the privilege to work on such a clean unit…😊. Outstanding attention to detail with the deck and pulleys…
That was awesome. Reminds me of a tv quote when i was a kid...
You can't use the mower, I've just polished the dipstick!!
I rarely see lawnmowers getting a full detail on TH-cam.
I think this is more relaxing and satisfying than an actual car detail to be fair lol
A different type of video. I can definitely appreciate it. Glad you shared it with us.
World class as always, Sandro. You’re incredible.
Also, your home and property are gorgeous!
Thank you!
Wonderful video, Sandro.
Can’t emphasize enough how important it is to immediately dry components with mowers. Decks rust right-away if anyone simply sprays them and let’s them air-dry.
I actually repaint my deck (push-mower) every other year, but pick a wild color just to keep the neighbors on their toes. I use the same process you would with automotive paint (sand to bare-metal, DTM primer, high-build, base and clear). So much fun. And I use the good cans of 4K clear so that you can polish and protect to your heart’s content.
This year the mower is Schoolbus Yellow. Last time I did McLaren Orange! 😂
Take care, Sandro. Keep pushing the art forward!
Nice on mate and completely agree!
Will have to see the look in your neighbours face when you roll out a hot pink mower deck 😉
Glad I'm not the only one who detail's their lawn mowers! I even ceramic coated my latest Victa.
Who would want to watch an R34 GTR get detailed when there is this. Serious best video ever. - Hank Hill
I watched this as a laugh to pass time with my lunch, but then I got hooked and was like surely he coats it! Actually surprising how much difference it makes to "just a piece of equipment"
Great content as always!
Someone: *leans up against Sandro's mower*
Sandro: "Hey I just polished and ceramic coated that!"
😂 Honestly this would've been a great April Fool's video, but the fact that it isn't makes it so much better because it shows the genuine care and appreciation you have for even a work utility vehicle. Great stuff
Can we all just stop and appreciate for a moment that a John Deere riding lawn mower just got a better detail that most daily drivers? We're not worthy!
Loved it! This video was excellent, as was the job you did on the riding mower. It doesn't matter what you are working on, your thoroughness and strong attention to detail never ceases to amaze me. Cheers, and have a good weekend my friend.
Thank you mate!
Did I ever think I would see you detail a ride on mower. No. Did I need to see it. Yes absolutely I did. Great work Sandro
Bro! Wheels first on the exterior was a great touch ❤
And I thought I was the only one that details my out door equipment lol. Good job man!
Great work Sandro. With the price of equipment like this it is a good practice to maintain it so it can last longer. Great video Sandro, I enjoy watching your channel.
Great job Sandro. That’s got to add a bunch of years to the life of your mower.
You might cause a new trend to appear where everyone is detailing and ceramic coating there outdoor equipment 😊
Great work and filming of it.
Hey, love your videos! Keep up the good work brother. Started my own business a few months ago and you have been a big inspiration.
Bring on winter! This is on the list for when it’s a quiet week
Them: "What'd ya do this weekend?"
Sandro: "I ceramic coated my lawn mower"
😅haha
great, now the owner won't want to cut grass with it anymore and just leave it parked in the shed to stare at lol
That thing has a nicer cupholder than my first car 😂
Fantastic Video as always! Great work. 👌
Yay Sandro great job, always great to maintain your necessary equipment 👍
Guessing you didnt have a car to do 😂. From car care to lawn care, love it
Well taken care of. Kudos, Sandro!🎉
Great content Sandro, love it. Especially at the 0:58 mark when I saw the Built in Greeneville TN, USA. I drive thru Greeneville TN just about every day 😀😀😀😀
Fantastic! I’m really glad JD is still made in the USA 🇺🇸
Me: 19:15 oh what a nice detail video...*checks time...oh he aint done, surely he isnt also going to polish..
OH HE IS!!!
🙂
The video production of this video is awesome! Well done! 🔥🔥
Great video. In my when I have done mowers for myself and customers, I use mostly brushes instead of air to dislodge dirt.😜 also I used Koch Chemie Motorplast
My guy whipped out the DLUX bottle for the engine plastics on his riding lawnmower. Detailing is life.
That’s awesome, I busted out laughing when you broke out the DA🤣😃👍🏼
I was so confused, I thought it was some sort of movie trailer lol I had to double check if I clicked on the right video 😆 now time to enjoy
Thank you that’s a really nice compliment I’ll take 🙂hope you enjoy it!
inb4 this becomes Sandro's most viewed video
I used to work as a diesel mechanic at a John deere dealership and would sometimes work on mowers, If only more customers brought them in that condition
That was such a fun video!
You just KNOW Sandro doesn't clean his house - he DETAILS his house! 😂
You know it! 🙂
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing oath!
not sure whats crazier. the fact that this detail video exists or that i watched it
Ive found my long lost brother i dont k ow much of anyone who detail a mower in the states i have foamed my lawn mower just by chance of washing the car so why not occasionally but why not take care of things i like the video
Wonderful video. Mice property too.
On next week's show Sandro polishes then ceramic coats all the window ledges and garage doors😂
Bloody brilliant!!
miss watching the car wash content sandro.. hope u been well mate
This reminds me so much of myself 😅 When I first got into detailing, I started detailing any- and everything in sight. My cars, bicycle, scooter (moped), cars of family, friends, neighbours and stranger a like. Hasn't come to ride-on mowers though 😂 Awesome video 👌🏻
I hear you load and clear - I’ve been staring at my detailing trolley thinking that could do with a buff …
A good detailer should be able to do a near perfect restoration, but also understand when and when not this near perfection should be aimed for. This is a perfect example to show that even if the restoration isn't, nor needs to be near perfect, the results will still look amazing.
Superb 😇 fantastic brake from all the "carwashvideos"...
Nice one 😂😊
I think i just got hypnotised. Great video and awesome result. You better watch out, Yvan might head hunt you for his c6 industrial coating.
The skill level you possess = on a nother level
😎😎😎 Looks great, Sandro.👍👍👍
Watching this from Europe feels weird seeing a place that is in fall while here is about to be summer
I’m thinking “what? You didn’t put it on a lift?” Next scene it’s up on ramps. Hehe
Um, Sandro, do we need a detailing intervention?
I must say I occasionally detail my Honda……
P.s. I can imagine Sandro at the mower shop with his led light looking for scratches and swirls. Hehe
Loved the video WE all know that the john Deere are the Ferraris of mowers just a pity it's not in red Sandro if it has 4 wheels on it your are putting tyre dressing on keep them coming in Sandro we trust
Thank you brother!
Brilliant
Sandro, GREAT VIDEO!!! CarPro Perl on those tires?
Thanks and it was Shine Supply Decked Out.
Great video as usual. Where you been? It's been quiet and it seems like a lot has changed since we have seen you in the old shop?
Now you did your lawn mower, did you also ceramic coat things inside your house?😂😂
Your mental. I got ocd too, but i draw the line at detailing my ride on like that…😂🤪
“Still the best farkin”
How would you restick a sticker thats coming off of plastic? One of my labels is peeling on my push mower
I just quickly cleaned the peeled section with some alcohol and put a little double sided tape on mind for now - probably won’t last long. It’s quit hard and messy to re-stick a failing sticker/decal, I’d say you’ll need to use some adhesive/tar remover to remove all the glue, and reply some fresh glue- might have to research the correct glue/adhesive to apply.
Hey Sandro, I have a theory I'd like to hear your opinion on. I have a BMW X3 with a panoramic sunroof which is waiting to get coated (by me). I also have bottles of Nv Evo, Dquartz Gforce, and Dlux. My theory is - with Dlux formulated as a wheel and plastics coating, it has the highest chemical resistance of the 3 but least paint enhancement characteristics. Therefore, for a panoramic sunroof which will never see a wiper blade, Dlux would actually be the best of the 3 to coat it in terms of longevity, given as it hasn't had to make any sacrifices in longevity to trade off for paint enhancement. What do you reckon about my theory?
You could be right - but if I had to guess what would last the longest there without any specific prior testing I’d tend to put my money on Evo
are you selling it? could word it "as new"
not sure if you need to reupload but the 21:9 aspect ratio got cropped int a 16:9
This was really good, don't forget to grease the nipples for the front steering and ad some LED bulbs
You can see so much better at night. 👌
Yes all greased up and also got some fresh plugs, fuel/oil/air filters in - agreed the lights could be way better around dusk so will look into some LEDs, thanks mate.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing I use Auxito they have a projector type/fish eye look to the bulb.
Using pressurized air anywhere around the air intake with the air filter removed... not sure if I'd be that brave :D
Shithot vid sandro and your property is next level gorgeous
It’s pretty much just an advert for Carpro,
First
🥇hope you enjoyed the video!
