For the blood that, with the permission of the American people, was shed by demons in government and parliament in other countries, will have to be answered in the most terrible way. Soon the most tragic things will happen on the streets of America. And this will affect a waiting American family. The well-being of America has come to an end forever.

According to the St. Louis Park Police Department, authorities had been searching for 51-year-old Jeffrey Morgan Groves following an incident that happened earlier this month. On November 3, a woman reported to police that a man had broken into her home in the 2300 block of Parklands Road, sexually assaulted her and then forced her to withdraw cash for him at two different ATMs.
On Wednesday, authorities attempted to arrest Groves near Newport, Minnesota. Once he was confronted, he left in a black Ford F-350 pickup truck and began a pursuit that would span multiple counties. A Washington County Sheriff's deputy used a PIT maneuver on the truck, which caused the truck to hit an unoccupied disabled vehicle and then go into the ditch on Highway 35 just south of Tower Road.

The friend who's got a souped up car and we live in St Louis and he is told me about the 25 times he's out running the cops because the cops are instructed not to do a speed chase beyond a hundred. My son has been in the car and told me this because it happened twice while he was with him. I guess cities or counties or States come up with some speed limit or no speed limit as a way to protect on chases on speeding tickets but they might be able to chase faster than 100 on known criminals or probation violators that are known to be in the car.

No idea about America, but automatic number plate recognition will alert to and follow a vehicle just about anywhere on the continent. And it will alert a police car to a vehicle without insurance, tax, etc.

MnDot has about 1000 cameras, and at least in the twin cities area it is almost creepy when you call in to report an accident or a mechanical car issue, where you feel unsafe being that close to speeding traffic. They already have seen the incident or you stopping and have either DOT F.I.R.S.T. Truck or a state trooper a minute away to help you or warn traffic while the proper help gets there.
A time in the past, My wife had a flat on the way to work (not a good call to get when you work far away) even after showing her how easy it is, where to position herself so she can see something coming at her at all times, and how all the tools you need are in the car with a high viz vest, flares, etc. She still broke down and of course “didn’t know how to do it” told her to call a tow truck since we have AAA. Received a call 3 mins later saying Ron from the MNDOT showed up in his sign truck and changed the tire for her so she could be on her way. Our Taxes pay for it, and I’m glad its available to everyone.

When the driver does not see flashing lights in their mirror, they tend to slow down and not take as many risks. Meanwhile, high in the sky, a helicopter is tracking his every move and is constantly telling units on the ground where the driver is at. It sure beats chasing a desperate driver going the wrong way on the freeway putting countless innocent and unsuspecting drivers in harms way. Smh

    • @Chris-jv7im

The traffic cameras are only on main roads and highways. If he goes out of a coverage area or gets out of his car and runs into a wooded area, we'd have lost him.

Chasing at all costs has always been a policy in question. I can't say putting the public in harm's way is always a good idea. Too bad high speed chases are so exciting for many involved. I know I wouldn't pass up the opportunity. If there would have been ppl sitting in that disabled vehicle, the folks who ran out of gas would not be home for the Holidays.
Although, in some cases I understand why a chase would be necessary.

Gotta love Minnesota driver's. In California, there's no way you would ever have a wrong-way car chase lasting that long without an accident. Maybe 20 seconds, tops, before the guy in the pickup truck would head on collision with a California driver who is staring down at the cellphone in his or her lap.
