- Footage from the Byron Police Department in Georgia shows 24-year-old Sierra Hibbert allegedly hitting multiple people and police while a child was in the car to avoid being arrested on July 15. According to reports, police were called when witnesses allegedly saw the “reckless” motorist veering into oncoming traffic. Hibbert was charged with aggravated assault. The child was not injured.

I love that woman at the end who ran to the car to make sure the kid was ok and then slammed the doors . She represented the fury we all felt watching this
I thought it was unnecessary.. all she did was scare the child more than she already was. Who was she even anyway? Was she a cop? I would think they should control their anger a bit better than that.

They just went through something that could cause PTSD. I totally understand why that woman acted like that. Some of reaction was probably for the child as well as all the others who was in danger
@@raemerry7965 Yeah even the cops weren’t gonna stop her to have her brief moment. Correction, not cops, these are officers of the law. If she kept going they would have escorted her away, or said “ma’am, calm down” like cops do. This situation obviously didn’t call for that!!! They understood. She probably reminded the police of their own mothers reaction, which is the reason these officers were so professional and showed restraint when pulling their weapons, because a child was involved. Massive respect for that. Massive respect for the woman. She wasn’t going to listen to those officers (the mother). Having another woman crush you while being arrested, well deserved.
The child was fine and if she remembered that incident, I’m pretty sure that lady yelling at the very end, would be the least of worries…

@Tom Yamaguchi cops really don't mind civilian help as long as they are not obstructing or placing themselves in danger. If the danger is neutralized, they will often ask civilians to grab handcuffs, check injured passengers, etc. Depending on the state, I guess.

So she drove into oncoming traffic beforehand. And then this behavior and these statements. I think the likelihood that she's having a psychotic episode or a nervous breakdown is relatively high. In this case, she doesn't necessarily know what she's doing.

The description says she had been driving recklessly and the police were called to the scene. So, she already had been reckless, and then took it to the next level when they arrived. I am so glad the child was ok. The lady who yelled at her spoke for all involved. Good job handling this, Byron PD!
These cops were so professional. I am very surprised they didn't discharge their gun. Especially the sergeant here was very patient and remained calm during this chaos. He handled this situation like a champ.

Efere, Iam an ex=police officer and was also Vietnam veteran. From the beginning (even before the event began) no training and lack of common sense. The police cars have push bumpers, they did not use them. like the old settlers. they circled the wagons pointing their guns if they fired their guns there was a good chance they would have shot one of their own, or hit the child. I saw a couple of people (officers) punching the windows that won't break the windows but might well break bones in your hand.

@@sashypooh409 Even batons sometimes don't get thru car windows, especially if tinted. Plenty of police videos of police smashing at a window with a baton for a good 30 seconds before it starts caving in. And you would never want to shoot at a wheel for plenty of reasons, reason one being you can easily miss and hit someone or have your ricochet hit someone, and considering they knew a child is in the car no-one wants to shoot at all unless absolutely necessary. Not sure if you noticed but at the start of the video the officers already had spike strips under the car ready for her to take off so her tires were done from the start.
There is a current case where some cops did shoot at a nutcase in a car. A baby who was also in the car got hit by accident (maybe died). Now the police are the ones in trouble. Absolutely insane.

As a former CPS and a licensed social worker for decades. That mother jeopardized her child’s safety . That child is going to be taken away from her. The video is damning.
Other than this video, there's absolutely no record of this instance having even occurred in the courts or in the news media, think she probably walked away with next to no personal repercussions, otherwise we would be able to find something, wouldn't we smh?
Imagine behaving so abhorrently that a random stranger rips into you for how you’re treating your child. That, to me, would be worse than any prison sentence. As far as I know, car is considered a deadly weapon if you use it to run into other cars and people. And if you have a deadly weapon and endanger the public, police are authorized to end the threat with deadly force. The child is lucky to still have a mother.

The way she sprinted to the car to check on that baby and the other civilians getting her out. This is a small community in the middle of the state. Makes me proud of my state how everyone came together to stop this woman and help that child.

Not 90%, but 100%. The judge *has* to drop it. The officer accused you of the infraction, they have to defend their accusation. The judge can't accuse you of something and place guilt upon something that they did not personally witness.
I also find her exact words of "I didn't do whatever you guys are talking about" very telling. She's literally saying "I don't know whatever you think I did but no matter what it was, I didn't do it!" Perhaps the most frequent yet overlooked mantra of the narcissist.

The woman at the end who rushes to get into the back seat, and then yells at the criminal driver after she’s been cuffed, was one of the civilians at the scene of the initial crash. You can see her there as the van first takes off. She as well as at least three of the civilian men also visible there are the ones who can be seen on the right side of the van beating on the windows when it’s finally been stopped. Those men also are the ones who pull the baby out.
And it was a BABY in the back. My heart breaks for that poor child

I intervened in a situation where a man was beating his dog in his front yard and when the dog ran to get away which was into the street it got hit by a car. I totally lost my mind and to this day I still feel sick about how unstable I became in that situation. I totally lost my mind, I jumped the fence of my own yard, lost my shoes, was in my bath robe and braless at the time and hadn’t brushed my hair or teeth, I was not ready for a public viewing but when I heard what I heard and saw what I saw it’s like a flip switched and next thing I knew I was in the guy’s yard flipping out on him. When I heard the woman scream at the end of this video at the suspect it brought back that moment and made me feel better. I guess the animal in us is still strong and we shouldn’t be timid when an innocent is being harmed.

She “has to” pretend to be crazy in an effort to get off lightly. (She knew there would be video, all of this is planned for her defense, which suggests this is NOT the first time she has been in court). Classic NPD: no attention is negative attention.
1.) If she does something positive (highly unlikely), she gets attention, which is what she wanted, so that’s positive attention. For example, people see her buy her kid a candy bar. It only counts if she’s SEEN buying it. (The kid is only a pawn in a scheme to get MOM attention).
2.) Negative attention is actually positive attention. For example, this entire video of her multiple crimes. All eyes are on MOM, even here in the comments section. She wanted attention; she got negative attention; therefore, it’s positive, bc she still got attention. The child doesn’t even factor in to mom here. It’s ALL about what mom wants.
3.) Being ignored is NO attention when she wants attention, and that is finally negative attention. To a Narcissist, being ignored is a death sentence.

My mom was on her way to work when there was this car weaving in and out of traffic at a high speed. She ended up at a red light and the car next to the speeder rolled the window down and started screaming at the lady to slow down because she had 2 kids in the car. The lady didn’t listen and continued speeding and weaving. Well, she got into a bad accident up the road. The guy that yelled at her stayed to make sure the police knew that she was 100% at fault. She ended up killing one of the kids. The one that wasn’t hers. People b crazy out there. Stay safe.

That’s horrible! I remember driving my friend to pick up her daughter from school and being so overly cautious with them in the car! Whenever I see a car driving like that, I always write down their license plate because I know eventually one of them will get in an accident. I also plan to stop and wait for the police to tell them they were driving recklessly prior to their accident.
