Hello melanie, love your videos. I know this video is not the right one for my question but I seen where you talk about mistakes in the dental field. I wanted to know if you ever had to change from multiple dental office until the right one was good for you? I am having a hard time with offices because of the rudeness and the expectation to get everything done within a month as a new dental assistant. I have become more confident and trying my best to learn all the time but i stress so much after starting this field of career. any advice? Thank you!

I swear I learn more from you than I did in school and I have been a dental assistant for 5 years.

I currently work in general but interested going to endo. Can you talk about what its like transitioning to endo and are there any other procedures that you do? I want do something more repetitive unlike in general everyday is so different. TIA!

Honestly transitioning to endo was pretty intimidating at first bc they had all this fancy tech and files and rotarys that I had no idea about. But the doctor made the transition easy because he is very easy going :) it is also easy because it is the same thing all the time 😏
Other than root canals, we do apicoectomys, I&D, and emergency splint placing
I hope you find a good endo office if you chose to leave general :)

I love your videos so much, I am looking for dental assistant program. I am living in San Francisco, CA. I am considering the 8-10 months ( about 14.000- 15.000$) which prepare to take CDA and the one is only ten sessions ( 10 days 8-5pm and it is 2500$) which train you to work as DA, in this way you work at Dental Office for 15 months then apply to take RDA California state exam. As you experience, which way you would recommen me to go? Thanks so much for your information. It’s so helpful!!! Loveee

Mam in one video you said you make 23 dollars an hour as a dental assistant. Is it pre tax or post tax income? Please reply.
