Imagine getting a cheap shot on a hall of fame player and injuring him in 1988; then in 2023 it's immortalized on TH-cam. That's the legacy that your friends and family now see. Sad trade off.
Isn't it interesting how much more entertaining the NFL can be when you take away all the constant replays, penalties and incessant (and pointless) player celebrations and add in actual defense, special teams, the running game and professional announcers? It feels like you're watching an actual sporting competition instead of American Gladiators.
the 88' bears were really good they couldnt keep mcmahon healthy... the loss of richard dent and the fridge was too much for em but they did beat 49ers in like week 6 i cant remember

That play, Brent Williams holding Jim McMahon's foot in his hand, long after the play was over. Looked very suspicious. Of course he's going to plead innocent. NFL didn't take action though.
I vividly remember watching this game with my Dad. Good memories.
