Great season. One of the best ever, imo

The game where Ronnie Harmon didn't know he wasn't supposed to be starting.
    Thank you, JG9.

This is the last Bills game not coached by Marv Levy until 1998
The next day, Hank Bullough was fired and the rest is history

The reason for the bad quality is due to the fact that I bought this game from a private collector 20 years ago and it came on an old VHS tape. It had to be converted, etc...

Such a shame that James Wilder had his talents wasted on so many awful Bucs teams after Doug Williams left. Awful. Best running back in team history. That guy was Mike Alstott and Warrick Dunn all rolled up into one. Lawrence Taylor said he was one of the best running backs he ever faced.

And to think that if Hugh Culverhouse wasn’t so greedy Bo Jackson would’ve been in the backfield with him‼️ we all know that story…. Sad yet fun to think about

McKay really ground Wilder up during his last season as coach by giving him almost 500 touches. Now we know giving a running back the ball that many times is madness - but back then it was pretty common.

@@untexan George O'Leary did the same thing to Kevin Smith at UCF in 2007, which was the main reason he left for the draft a year early.

Lemme guess, you got this from my GAB TV channel ? If so, I appreciate you looking. I have a lot of other rare Bucs games on my GAB TV channel.

@Rusty Shackleford No. I got it from a private collector. I didn’t know it was yours. Had I known the game was yours, I never would’ve have posted it. I’ll take this game down. My apologies.

@@jamiejohnson4524 No, no brother - it's fine. I just thought the timing was odd because I have this game on an old VHS that I bought years ago and it was converted to digital and I just uploaded over there a few days ago. That said, I have a bunch of old school Bucs games and you are welcome to any of them.

The greatest photograph ever captured in world history was during pregame of THIS matchup. I wish I could post it here but it’s Jim Kelly & Steve young laughing shaking hands in the middle of the field. The sad part is Bo Jackson SHOULD have been on this Bucs team which potentially would’ve kept Steve Young a Buc for many more years. If only Hugh Culverhouse wasn’t so greedy. Bucs drafted Bo but tricked him into not being allowed to play baseball so he refused to play for “Greedy” Hugh Culverhouse. Just imagine Steve Young, Bo Jackson, James Wilder, Alvin Harper, and then a few years later here comes Sapp, Brooks, Lynch, Alstott, and the gang🤯…. 🥹… man, what could’ve been 🤦🏼‍♂️.

Idk when Wilder retired but a healthy Bo Jackson, James Wilder, and MIKE freaking ALSTOTT💥‼️💥 … can you say best backfield of all time ⁉️🙋‍♂️

Fred Smerlas claimed in his book that the Bills deliberately threw this game to get the hated Hank Bullough fired. If that's true, nobody on the offense was participating since they were clearly trying to win. Some sus plays on the ST and D though.

Right he wanted the Bill's calling timeout with like 4 minutes plus left. Then at 3:41 he wanted Kelly to call timeout again. This is after he said how important it would be to have your full compliment of timeouts to stop the Bucs on defense... lol

I prefer football back then over the modern version. Too many dink and dunk passes and don't know how to run the ball
