This quest was so good and impactful even though it was so short, also playing as Lumine in JP was absolutely heartbreaking for me hearing her voice on the verge of tears

Fr ~ the line about “the sea of the flowers at the end” fits so much with mc lumine ❤ lumine wanting to find the place in the universe where that one flower was in full bloom and big bro aether finds it for her at the end of his journey

i'm the opposite. i prefer male MC bcs Lumine's hair ornaments have that flower, meaning that she was there at the end and plucked some of them. also the title "Abyss Princess" seems more badass than "Abyss Prince". she also has more empathy than Aether, meaning it makes sense for her to stay and fight for Khaenriah and Abyss. i think i just like misunderstood female villains in general lol. like how they tried to make Furina this annoying brat but she turned into this misunderstood human who suffered for 500 years.

this archon quest actually made me excited for the game again. caribert’s story was so sad..then we got hit with the reunion… then the fact that we won’t be able to remember it.. hoyo really wanted to traumatize us.

I love Genshin but I don’t blame people for not caring about the siblings. The reason being is that the writers forgot the most important thing about writing: show don’t tell. If they had just shown us a quest where we experience the past travels between Lumine and Aether to fully understand them better, then maybe more people would actually care about these two. Because honestly, other than the fact that they’re the main characters there’s really no reason to care about them.
@@sittingcrowd912mostly the skippers are the niche few players who always complain online about the end game content. I mean they only play it for the combat they don’t really care about the story. They’re mostly in that new game Wuwa now but still slandering genshin. Majority of the player base in genshin are casuals the ones who read the lore and stuff and doesn’t really care about combats and end game.

What confuses me is that, she says that the hydro archon destorying her throne didn't awaken the heavenly principles but wasn't that the point? Didn't Focalor put Furina through 500 years of pain for the sole purpose of NOT awakening them and destorying her throne without them noticing? Or was it that she didn't want them to catch wind of what she was doing until the last moment? And lets say that is the case, looks like it didn't need to go that far if it didn't wake them up anyway when it should have.
I'm assuming Focalors didn't have an idea that the HP is 'sleeping' thus her whole plan of being sneaky. The abyss sibling most likely had an idea over the years but the happenings in Fontaine is what confirmed things for them that's why they rushed to complete the loom.
Tbh I find it odd myself that Celestia didn't respond to one of their thrones being destroyed
What's more surprising is that Nahida did knew that the Heavenly Principles were quiet since 500 yrs but not Focalors despite both of them being Archons.
@@stelrex7293It's because she's connected to the Irminsul which basically has records of everything in Teyvat (unless tampered of course), but it seemed like even she didn't realize that Furina's over-the-top personality was an act. Meanwhile Focalors was likely too busy trying to figure out how to deal with the prophecy right after accession to being the next Hydro Archon (thinking of plans underwater, creating the Oratrice, inviting Neuvillette, probably even dealing with the Oceanids leaving) and splitting herself, essentially being stuck in the Oratrice collecting energy, probably didn't help her get informed of whatever was happening with the Heavenly Principles. Even then, we can't rule out the possibility that she had some hint of them being asleep or at least not alert enough to monitor the happenings in the prophecy too closely, so she went with the plan she made after all.
I think it's still significant, actually. If she didn't destroy the throne all while "fulfilling the prophecy" as the then Hydro Archon, all that would happen is that the problem would get passed on to whoever her succesor is since the Heavenly Principles would realize that something else happened while the prophecy was supposed to go down, y'know like if someone else happened to ascend to archonhood. And also, giving back Neuvillette justice by giving the authority of Hydro back to him under the cover of that fiasco is something to consider too.
Take in mind, this is just me trying to rationalize based on the information we were given (and some brainstorming in my head to try and connect how some things might work), whether Hoyo even thought about how the Heavenly Principles being awake could have changed the outcome of Fontaine, I don't know. 😅 But hey, Focalors plan worked for the better, that's good enough for me (though I would have still loved a flashback of the full individual Focalors and Furina were before the split).

I do really wish miHoYo stop making Lumine and Aether blank slate MCs and just stick to their personality. imo that gives the story much more depth and characterization.
