TheCrazyFereldan Depends on the circumstances. Samus would annihilate him at mid-range. At closed-quarters melee range (she can't Space Jump away for range, and MC has powerful melee hits) or long range with no way to Morph Ball safely through any tunnels (as MC is a proficient sniper), he'd win. He'd also win a war of attrition, as his shields regenerate, but if he couldn't get away, she'd win, as her shields have a WAY higher maximum charge. Basically MC is more of an adaptible glass cannon, while Samus is tankier and more mobile.
+Nyzer I know I'm biased towards Metroid (just look at my picture), but as observed in Other M and I guess Samus Returns, she's a really good close-quarters fighter and can dodge really well. Master Chief has the best technology that humanity has been able to muster in the 26th century in the form of his armor, but Samus has Chozo technology (basically full on Forerunner tech) and she was trained by both the Chozo at a young age (not to mention genetically modified) and the Galactic Federation in her early adult years. Master Chief couldn't really harm her with conventional armaments such as bullets even from the most powerful sniper rifle, I will say that his best bet is using Covenant as well as Forerunner technology.
One of the best 3ds titles in ages I absolutely loved every minute of the game, now I want more metroid I hope they do a 2d metroid for the switch after prime 4
I've got some bad news for you from the future, we got the 2D Metroid but Prime 4 is in development hell, so we have no idea when or if it'll come out.

Kid Icarus would have been such a good game if they didn't throw it in the 3DS. Even with the graphics it would have been great on the Wii U.
