I just finished the whole video… I literally can’t decide on a favorite despite this being my 3rd or 4th listen of the album. There’s just so many bangers here, and they all have something good about them. The moments that feel out of place are few and far between, the sound design is spot on, and the surprising twists and turns the album takes are expertly executed. The one track I truly don’t know what to make of is the Supersonic VIP, I honestly couldn’t find too much different aside from the obvious 2nd drop change. The original just felt so much more complete and was just overall better produced in my opinion. But still, this album was a great experience, and a hell of a ride!!! It’s sad to see them go, but as you said, it won’t be the last of the artists themselves. And at least they ended off with a hell of an album! Goodbye Noisia!
Would love to see you review some deeper Dnb, maybe some artists like Imanu, Buunshin, Amoss, even Upbeats and Greycode. You've got a great energy and I think your platform would be a great way to educate some people on the more deeper cuts of drum and bass normally missed by listeners that stick to modern dubstep. Also keen to hear your thoughts on Buunshin's latest ep as it was such an interesting departure of his dnb sound. Keep up the wicked work bro! You've got my sub
Ayee thanks for the kind words about me and my content! And definitely down to do some more deeper DnB ESPECIALLY Buunshin, his new EP was phenomenal, specifically farewell, im okay, and tranen. Also im a huge fan of IMANU and Caracal Project lately so hpoefully some coverage of them in the future
Imo scrapped is top tier song if not off the planet it's just unwordly.. the housefly teeetehhhtehh just makes it unbelievable makes your mind go bonkers, like mike tyson giving uppercut everytime.
@@qbikmusik I actually thought you'd know him because he's like on the same level of Aphex twin when it comes to the electronic music GOAT conversation. I highly suggest you check out Foley Room (2007) and Fear In A Handful Of Dust (2019). Two albums that represent what he's all about.
@@qbikmusik ISAM is a sound design benchmark and I'd highly recommend it! :D Also, in the video you mentioned not being so big on Mefjus' own tunes. His album Manifest is solid but check out Sizzle Fizzler from that album ;) Enjoyed the video dude!
@@kaikleks7676 I can definitely appreciate his solo tunes and Manifest is definitely my fav work of his, but yeah Im just unfortunately not super passionate about alot of his solo music, Hopefully that will change moving forward tho!
32:53 when the song "the cleansing" first came out, I too was perplexed as to how they made that eerie melody in the middle of the song. If I remember right (it's been a few years since I made it), the bass was in tune, but the melody was slightly detuned. it was very subtle and even though I was able to recreate that part, I was unable to really successfully recreate the eerie vibe with my own melody or idea. still, it got me into using detuning more without making it obvious or inharmonic.
Oh man I saw in the chat you haven't heard of Amon Tobin before, you really should treat yourself to his music! An OG IDM artist alongside Aphex Twin and Squarepusher.
❤️👽👽👽❤️
Huge shoutout to Noisia and their team at Vision Records for getting this video unblocked for me! Hope yall enjoyed this review :)
Been waiting for this vid!!!!
❤️
Horizon is a masterpiece. It's honestly impressive how they can make someone cry with a song so simple yet so good.
It's atmospheric & liquid DnB just sometimes that magic doesn't work on anyone if not crafted right.
Cannot wait to see this when it premiers. Seeing someone else's first reaction to an album of this caliber can't not be enjoyable
Missed the premier live but thoroughly loving this right now.
at 27:00 ish the word you're looking for is cathartic, and ye very true
AAAAAAH THIS ALBUM IS SO GOOD!!
SERIOUSLY
The intro of Horizon reminded me a lot of the intro of Getter - All is Lost. Really great track
oo i can totally hear that
Ah, a man of culture, I see
Pleasure Model is one of my favorite EDM tracks ever, I cant explain the feelings I get listening to it

Two Fingers is the alter ego of Amon Tobin. Amon also has many other aliases that I can't remember at the moment.
Ima look up Amon Tobin!

The whole tune is untuned tune
Detuning is honestly such an underrated technique atleast in bass music, it can be really powerful if you use it right, awesome thing to point out!
with its repeated riff in different keys the caps lock intro reminds me a bit of Pantera's "the underground in America"
aw I used to love Pantera, I wish I knew the song youre referencing, ima go listen!
Nova into Yellow Brick is a must mix!
Brooo God-like editing bro
Im terrified by this man more than Noisia album welp 😂
