  • Loading a large Rhino bull needs proper planning and a whole team effort.
The STS team in South Africa were assisted by Insimbi Legacy Projects staff and APU units. After a head rope was secured, a partial immobilisation reversal was done so the Rhino could get up and walked into the trailer.
While the safety of the Rhino and everyone assisting is paramount, things may quickly change as we would find out during the trip…
Stay tuned to see what happened!
Remember it is your support that makes this possible, Private Rhino custodians like Carmela here at Insimbi Legacy Projects carry a heavy burden devoting all their lives and money to protecting Rhinos, so when we provide our veterinary support it goes some way to lightening that load.
Please consider supporting STS with a donation via our website or the button to ensure that we are always there to answer that call when Wildlife needs us! Your donations make this happen!
