Work on This Before Gain Staging!

To answer the simple question on how to gain stage a signal. I've found that one detail seems to be forgotten over and over again. The source, the signal in which your audio is coming from. How are we improving the source? Are we encouraging? Are we making sure our source's instruments are in tune? Are we acting professionally? Are we building trust? These improvements help the signal be the best it can be, well before Gain is even used.

I once recorded in a studio in Chicago that was very expensive. I had only about 10 hours to record 7 drum tracks, with no professional studio experience. The engineers were very personable and made me feel at ease. I would have never been able to pull it off if I felt too pressured. This video is right on!
