    Awesome, thank you it was really helptful. I want to add something from my experience with the board.when you go ti the routing section in the far right knobs you can swtich between "recording and playing" by moving the knob and pressing it. When it is in play it automatically get sounds into your speakers. But when you want to be able to monitor yourself while recording the option of "Playing" doesn't give you the audio of your microphones in the direct monitoring. If you want to be able to hear yourself you have to do this same tutorial but with the option on routing that I earlier mentioned turned to the left on "recording" and then you'll get monitoring together with the computer sound.

    Cool. I've just set-up my propresenter 7 in church for stage and audience display. The problem I'm facing is that my own monitor display has been affected. It's no longer full display and the propresenter app is cut off on the left and right of the my monitor. Any idea on how I can fix that? I don't know if it's a propresenter issue or a system issue.

    To be clear, you need dedicated video out from your presenting PC? So if you have a MAC that has two video out puts, 1 going to a USB HUB for Audiance display and the other going to a video switcher for live streaming, you'll need more hardware to have a stage display for a dedicated video out?

      @revp01 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Odanilo.martins it would be the same depending on your audio interface. Difference is this is focused on 2channel output with high sample rate resolution. It converts your digital signal to analog XLR with no perceivable latency.

    • @Cavilineprodplus
      @Cavilineprodplus 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don’t know about stronger, and I definitely can’t say that anything would help make it more real in sound. One thing to keep in mind is your I/O depending on what you have. Typically excepts more than one input. If for example you’re using a controller for special sounds (synths organs etc) but prefer to have a keyboard (Nord, Yamaha) routed into your signal path an I/O will allow you to do that with MainStage or your VST program.

    Will there be a part 3? Watched both parts and have to agree with you. For me it's sad that many local churches (I'm from Puerto Rico) simply wants to manage drum volume with a full enclosure. Forget about proper training for the drummer in the proper use of dynamics, getting advice on the proper equipment for the specific building and how to better space out instruments and vocals. And the worst part is that they commit to a full enclosure without the proper sound equipment and no knowledge on how to position the drumset in the enclosure. Drums mounted so close to the enclosure that the bassdrum almost touches the plexi glass, or there is no space to adjust a bass drumm mic. Enclosures so low the overhead mics only pic up cymbals or the cymbals are constantly hitting the mic stands. And, my worst nightnare, the sound guys don't know how to properly work with the in ear monitor systems, and no instrument or vocals is where its supposed as labeled. And they don't put drums in the others musicians and singera monitors.

      @@Cavilineprodplus Disclaimer: I'm a Gen X guy who's pushing 50, so yes: my opinions will sound like an Old Man Ranting, but you asked, I'll do my best to answer. So what worked for me? Downsizing, both drums and cymbals. When the previous set (12/13/16 toms; 18in crashes and 22in rides) overpowered the service, we moved to a "fusion sized" set (10", 12", 14" toms) and a set of 1990s, small, bright Zildjian cymbals: 16 in crashes, 13 in hats, and 20 in rides (a heavier ride and a washier ride). Mind you: we had a small band that had acoustic guitar, bass, and a piano. No electrics, no synths, no drum machines. So why did it work? Well, our repertoire was old timey stuff: no Bethel, Elevation, Hillsong, Jesus Culture or anything of the sort. Something to think about is do we REALLY need to match the sound and ambiance of recordings that are the modern day equivalent of 1980s Stadium/Arena Rock, or can we strip those songs down in a tasteful way that's suited for smaller houses of worship?

    Bingo! As a drummer who has played on worship teams for more than 20 years, most folks do not get the impact that microphones have when it comes to stage bleed. Sadly, not everyone is as cordial as you and immediately blame the drummer. And we wonder why drummers can get defensive. 🤔 Many times the same goes with keeping time, when the band doesn’t follow the drummer and get far enough apart the drummer relents to sadly following the band. Ultimately he gets the blame as well. But, back to your point, everything you brought up is valid and helpful. One add I think is important is the acoustics off the room. I’ve played on church buildings built 50-100 years ago when pipe organs and choir were your worship teams. Simple placing a rock style band with drums and electric guitars does not translate into great sound quality. Adding acoustic panels throughout the sanctuary will also help. Your marble example was spot on. Again, great suggestions. I hope many sound engineers take heed and not the east way out and tell your summer to play softer. Might well tell him, you stink and are not qualified. Yes, there are things he can do to help, but I believe there are many more obstacles to great drum sound than the solely the drummer. Thanks for bringing up great options! 🥁👍🏻

      Tony, I was having a rough Sunday Morning till reading your comments. Ty. I’m glad I’m reaching people out in our community. And yes, I completely forgot about traditional church rooms. In those scenarios I prefer the drummer to use a mesh electric kit. That way reverb is never out of control and the drummers feel like they’re playing on an acoustic kit.

    • @tonyvalenti6614
      @tonyvalenti6614 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Cavilineprodplus Well I’m glad that lifted you up a bit! You just reminded me in 1989 I played worship in a small warehouse room with about 100 people. An acoustic kit was not going to cut it, and eKits were not really a think yet, so I built one out of Remo practice pads with guitar piezos as triggers, super heavy black PVC and some hard rubber to cover the heads and dampen the tap noise. Oh! 🤦🏻‍♂️It has an Alisas Drum Machine and a Pevy PA speaker. Lol I had a love hate relationship with it because it really didn’t feel like an acoustic kit like todays eKits, but for 1989, it did the job pretty well! Fun challenges! Sometimes I think, why didn’t I just play the harmonica like Darryl Mansfield! 🤣
