Not a boomer. Love vulf. Unfortunate Theo doesn’t seem to understand socialism hurts the 99% and lowers everyone’s standard of living. Crony capitalism is not capitalism. Yes there are major problems with the system but socialism and redistribution of wealth is not the answer. Paying teachers $90k a year when city of Chicago is running massive deficits will result in larger problems in the future. Some people just want to be able to work hard and keep the fruits of their labors. Childish to paint capitalism and a free system in such a way focusing only on consumer goods you think are unnecessary Well what about all the amazing products and technologies that exist only because of the free market. Go research where europe gets all their chemotherapy drugs. From the US companies that do the billions in r&d. Socialism isn’t the answer just as crony capitalism isn’t either. More freedom hard work and less dependency on govt is. If no one has noticed the US govt is on the path to bankruptcy. So no giving a living wage to everyone free this free that is not going to work. The Road to Serfdom by Hayek is a great place to start for those interested in learning more about the dangers of socialism and how a true free market should work. Respectfully JJ
