Thank you for telling her. It felt like her wrong choices dimmed the light on a good Canadian breakfast with real maple syrup. Also she doesn’t research her choices she has nobody to blame but herself for ordering overly sweet coffees and snotty eggs
Love your videos, and so happy you got to see one of our great Canadian cities Toronto. I’m sure Banff and the west coast will be just as exciting for you, it is absolutely beautiful there!
Love love love Toronto !! We stayed at the Fairmont on our last trip in 2019 as we had to catch a train the next day to Quebec and it was practically next door . Thanks for taking me back to my favourite city x
You're right about the moose being Canadian! They were voiced as the characters Bob & Doug McKenzie from the Canadian sketch show SCTV (played by Canadian comedians/actors Rick Moranis & Dave Thomas).
This was fun to watch. I haven’t been to St. Lawrence Market in years. As you noted, butter tarts are really sweet. I don’t eat them very often because of that, and I like sugar. Lol! Looking forward to seeing Banff. My friends and I are looking into visiting Banff (and maybe Jasper) in the next couple years.

Loved this especially when you went to the fairmont as I stayed there for a week at Xmas 2022. It’s a stunning hotel and one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The little shop you got your bag charm from was where we bought some little souvenirs for home. Loved Toronto and this video brings back all the memories. Tried poutine when we went up the CN tower and it was delicious ❤
Omgosh it would be a dream to stay at the fairmont it looked sooooo nice 🥹🌷 holy smokes! Hehehe we didn’t get chance to go up the cn tower! I kind of wish we did now! Xxxx

It seems incredibly serendipitous that I've just booked a trip to Toronto for 2 months time and you're releasing this series! I have my phone open on Google Maps saving everywhere you go to😂😂
Please check out my comment for some solid restaurant recommendations. As much as we locals love to rag on them, blogto is also a good resource of top restaurant compilations . Also check to the FoodToronto subreddit. Enjoy your trip here!
Oh my gosh Catherine, Canada looks amazing and trying all different Canadian dishes, can’t wait to see the next video of your Canadian adventures 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
I had brain surgery a little bit ago and ive been up in bed. I cannot tell you how much of a needed funny moment that was when you were telling Dean to look how zoomed in the camera got. Haha you always make my day!
@catherinekayy Thank you! I'm healing up as well as expected. I've been subscribed to your Katnipp videos since your very first studio vlog (on my other account). I love your vibe, always so relaxing and cozy. So happy for you and Dean and was excited to watch your travels!
Loving this ♥️ 🇨🇦 Butter tarts are definitely very sweet and an acquired taste…my old workplace back in Canada (we live in England now) still makes lots of different types of butter tarts (maple/bacon, skor chocolate etc)…the original type is with raisins normally ☺️ There is even a butter tart festival in my old town 😆
OooOoooo maple bacon flavour sounds so interesting 😅❤ I’m kind of curious hehehe 🥹🌷🌷🌷 ooo I feel like I’d quite like it with raisins too! Thank you for watching ❤
Yes, there are way too many coffee shops selling sugar, syrupy drinks and processed food. Still, there are great places to eat, like Earl's or really nice steakhouses out West. You guys will love Calgary and Banff. Thanks for this travel video, iit was fun to see you 2 in another part of the world.
I love seeing your perspective of seeing Canada for the first time! I do agree that butter tarts are quite indulgent. My favorite flavor is a toasted coconut one...I feel like it cuts the sweetness a bit! Another super sweet Canadian desert is a nanaimo bar. That would be something Dean would like for sure! 😁

Thanks for sharing the vlogs. ❤
You did well, trying all our Canadian treats! Butter tarts are tricky- there are annual butter tart festivals where bakeries compete for “best” recipe….the biggest debate seems to be “raisins or no raisins”😂 You took some amazing footage of Toronto. You are so good at photography and storytelling.
Please go get poutine from any other place than Smokes; their gravy is sweet and they’re not the greatest (they’re a chain). If you’re back in Toronto at the end of your trip, go to NomNomNom at Dundas and Bathurst (where all the container restaurants are). I can’t give reccs for out West, I’m in Toronto. lol For solid brunch in Toronto, go to Lady Marmalade, Petit Dejeneur, Mildred’s Temple Kitchen. For classic diners, Fran’s or Lakeview

I love your videos so muchhhh, I do have one criticism with this and the last video is that the music felt very repetitive with the same song and lyrics over and over. I look foreword to your videos every week so please don't think I'm trying to be rude its just a suggestion.
Oh no I’m sorry! I do love that song 😂 I think that’s why I used this again! I’ll take this on board hehehe thank you! ❤
How funny, I had the opposite reaction! I absolutely LOVED that song! It made me start dancing and singing along whenever it played 🥰

lol couldn’t be further from the truth 😆🤣 this made me giggle
I’m so sorry that your obviously having a hard time in life that you feel the need to bring other people down, Catherine actually comes from a working class family and has never received any financial help from anyone, Catherine started her own business 7 years ago whilst working 3 other part time jobs and I was working full time plus constant over time to provide for us both and we managed to get a mortgage at the ages of 24 and 22, over the next few years Catherine gradually built up her business and was able to go full time, 3 years ago I was then able to leave my job and go work for her, please think about other peoples feelings before leaving negative comments ❤
