    Your energy is infectious and I really enjoyed this video. Heading back to Paris this summer as a random add-on and will be visiting the Champagne region for the first time - these tips are absolutely invaluable! Thanks for sharing and cheers! .

    Fun Video...The Moet cellar tour is excellent if you go back. I wouldn't overlook it because you've tasted it before.. for next time :) More cellar tours and famous houses are in nearby Reims like Veuve, Ruinart, Taittengier and Pommery among many others ... all offer excellent tours underground in the chalk caves plus tastings.

    Thanks for sharing, do you need to make reservation in the champagne house along avenue during champagne if you just want a sample without tour?

    Which restaurants do you recommend in Eperney

  • @kvpx05

    Hi! Which sandwich shop did you go to in epernay? I may need to stop at the same one in between stopping at the houses!

    • @TheMeganDaily
      @TheMeganDaily  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      To be honest I don’t remember. It was a shop we passed on the way from the train station.

      @The Megan Daily what train did u take to go from Paris to Epernay? How far was the station to Avenue of Champagne?

    • @barmalini
      @barmalini ปีที่แล้ว

      Just go to any carrefour or leclerc nearby, they have lots of ready made food including baguettes, sandwiches, pizzas and more, and they won't charge you arm and coat of arm, so you can spend more pennies on those bubbles

    Thank you so much for your Vlog. It was so beautiful and informative. Yes I could only possibly do two champagne houses. Because I would do a day trip like you did from Paris I can’t drink too much. However I do have a question. In your walks between champagne houses did you notice any restaurants to go eat at? I just wanted to see if I could stop to eat midway through.

    • @TheMeganDaily
      @TheMeganDaily  ปีที่แล้ว

      There are restaurants but not really on the avenue of champagne. But , if I recall correctly, some of the houses DID have food offerings. And the restaurants aren't too far away.

    • @PoserAlert
      @PoserAlert ปีที่แล้ว

      Most of the houses will have some food. On the L’Avenue de Champagne, La Cave de L’Avenue has food, but if you go into town, Sacre Bistro is a good option for more basic things, La Grillade Gourmande is a good option if want something nicer, then of course there are a number of upscale restaurants.

    1. There are much better/more interesting houses on the outskirts/around Epernay than the ones highlighted in this video. You can get around by Uber/Bolt, but a more efficient, albeit more expensive option is to hire a chauffeur service.
    2. The reason it is called L’Avenue de Champagne is as much for the millions of bottles underneath it as it is for the houses (not all champagne houses) that line it.
    3. The pronunciation of a number of names in this video is just tragic- perhaps figure them out first if you’re going to make a video about a place.
    4. If you just want snack food/sandwiches and don’t want to eat at the houses, La Cave de L’Avenue and Sacre Bistro have good options. La Grillade Gourmande is a good option if you want something nicer and, of course, you have a number of Michelin starred options if you want something more upscale.
    5. The whole schtick with the flailing arms is rather off putting.

      Thank you for taking the time to boost my engagement with this long comment. Since the algorithm can’t tell the difference between good and bad comments, all engagement is good for me and help me build my channel. As such, I really appreciate your dedication and commitment to my channel!:-)

      Feel free to make videos about your experience though, but do the minimum to get facts accurate and ensure that it is clear that the vlog is based on very limited experience or knowledge if you insist on producing them.

      It's also worth noting you are a musician who puts his art online, and also asks for donations. I also happen to be a professional musician (opera singer) and my fiancé/co-creator is a Broadway pianist and music director. Also, my friend in this video has a boyfriend who is a singer at the Paris opera. Would you enjoy it if we went to your page and left the same sort of constructive criticism you just left here? We'd be happy to return the kindness.

    Im planning to go to epernay also in August because your video is very inviting. Im wondering were those champagne houses you visited were the only ones that doesnt require booking or is it same with other houses where you can just walk in like in Haro,Rioja
