- This is a revs cave guide for absolute beginners. In osrs and especially at the revenants there is a good chance you might lose your stuff, I intentionally picked cheap gear and kept the guide very simple for this reason. Thanks for watching!

Great vid man! I’ve been doing low budget revs for about 20k kills, most being orcs since they’re easy to escape from. You may have mentioned it, but you HAVE to be using at least the salve amulet (ei), but in this setup your +1 should be the avarice (bring a ring of wealth for wearable lvl 30 teleport if you don’t have royal seed pod) Huge DPS bonus, noted common items and chance of getting blue skull from maledictus. Under no circumstances should you not have an avarice or salve imo. Also, ditch the mage shield for a cheap anti dragon shield to not get owned by pkers bolt specs. Thanks for the content man!
Well I just found you tonight... I followed your given tactic down to the tee... I have officially had my first ever successful rev run... 735k in 25min. It was CHAOS and my heart was beating out of my chest... but I finally did it thanks to you!

Ive literally got pked 20 in the last half hour doing revs, youtubers that make these videos are just trying to lure more low levels into revs to PK them straight up

My story gonna sound like a lie but this video... I got a 8m drop and a 15m drop on hobgoblins in about few hours... Died 4or five times for 200 to 400 and got a bunch of small trips up 100 200k

this was super helpful for me. Ive never been to the wildy outside of a single hard clue step one time lmao I'm very risk adverse in general. Was a lot easier/safer than I thought. Went with that exact build and people more or less left me alone. I only got attacked by players twice in about 90min. one guy just clearly wanted the area to hisself I was able to just teleport out right away no problem. Another guy was like fucking torvesta style in full max world hopped to where I was, instantly teleblocked me, then chased me through the entire cave I literally ran out of food when I got by the stairs, literally misclicked past the stairs which I guess psyched him out bc he took a minute to adjust, didnt attack me, and i got out. I literally tanked like full on voidwaker specials all this shit. all for 100k in gear and like 75k in the looting bag (I had _just_ got there). No idea if that's normal but it was really funny to me. he was literally risking over 1000x more than me
I can absolutely relate to how you feel! I basically use the same gear for clue scrolls in the wildy, you can even get rid of a lot of stuff for clues and make it much cheaper. Love reading comments like this, good luck and I hope you make some good gp!
Did this for the first time today took me being killed 3 times to get a good idea of where to go to not get ganked so fast. After a few successful runs ive made probably a solid 1m after considering what i lost dying and the 3 100k entrance fees 😂 thanks for the vid man!

Followed your guide exactly and got a 4m drop my second kill ever. Second trip I died because I thought the pkers weren't interested in me. Third trip 1m drop + all the other good stuff =D

bastion potion feels like a mil when you're a beginner lol
As a lvl 95 with 83 range, I've found the lvl 55 hobgoblins to be pretty decent. Sometimes you go dry, but that's rng. Regardless you can still expect like 600k-1mil an hour I'd say. Anything above the lvl 55's and it's been a bit rough, but I've been using an MSB with amy arrows and range pot. The other day I went dry and was just bored and tagged 3 of the lvl 15s near the entrance and the third dropped an 8mil effigy for me lmao. So now I have this ritual of tagging 3 low lvl revs for the culture. One thing I think is worth doing is on your first run, once you hit 200-300k, bank it just to cover your losses if you get pkd. One death in this setup is about 250-300k. After that, you should probably bank after 200-300k regardless, but you can at least stay longer if you'd like to. Another small tip if you're on runelite, when you equip your glory, change the left click option to immediately telly you to edgeville. If you're killing the 55's, you can just kill and have your equipment screen open ready to click and telly out. There is that weird wildy delay, idk how it works, sometimes it pops up an interface, sometimes you telly instantly.

To be honest this is a pretty bad guide, in fact, I can't find a single one revenants guide on TH-cam that is actually useful. It's not hate, bro, just the truth. As someone with more than 40k revenants kills and all the collection log completed, you should NEVER bring more than, 4 food, for example manta rays, why? Well, if you're killing, let's say orks, you must have protect from magic at all times active so if someone teleblocks you it will only last 2:30 min. In order to survive teleblocks you MUST bring like 8 or 10 brews and 5-7 restores and maximum 3 karambwans. Also, being skulled it's not that good, even with the amulet of avarice because pkers are more much likely to attack you because your risk is higher. With that in mind, I always use avarice and webweaver because I have more than 800h in that cave and I feel very comfortable with a 2:30 teleblock. Last but more important, the real menace in the cave are rushers. They are very easy to avoid but if you are not paying attention for a couple of second you're fucked up
I have been risking even less. I go out with a rune cross bow, 30 dragon stone bolts (e), one click tele, ring of dueling, my accumulator and one bracelet with 10 charges. I've been grinding where the bots grind the imps. I only get hit by the more experienced players when theyre running by (im assuming for shits and giggles). Very few stop to pk me and when they do i warn them ive got nothing of worth. (10 mins in the cave makes up for the 100k fee if its lost, so why pk my poor ass?) Lol
Returning pre eoc player here. Just got mage 94 and decided to go pking again for the first time in 10years went to bh and died 3 times and lost like 8m. Then i wanted to brid/nh in rev caves first time ( i only know the pre eoc version) there were only bots who would insta tele when they see me cause i was in mystic and skulled, so i ended up killing the smaller imp and hellhound revs for like not even 10minutes and i made my 8m back lol. Got a 8m ancient effigy and magic tree seeds for 500k. I was watching streamers but not playing when they released the caves and i thought because of the multiple loot table nerfs its not good money anymore but im surprised how easy and low effort it is to make money, if you know how to pk/counter pk obviously and be confident not shake lol so i always bring a ags or voidwaker

I'm sorry to hear that man, sometimes it can be the time you go... really early in the morning or late at night is less busy. If you want a safe money making method maybe stick to slayer or bossing. All the best!
Lol it also depends on your combat bracket, the lower the better. The higher level you are in my experience the more likely you are to be attacked by players

I should have been more clear that this was sarcasm lmao... They were definitely like 50k a piece and when your whole set up is 100k I figured it wasn't worth it. This video was mostly about a cheap set up to get people comfortable doing revs. Cheers bro haha
Is it even possible for a lvl 55 to kill revenats i got them as a wilderness slayer task but i really think they are going to be a pain in the ass

Why the rcb over a magic shortbow (i) ?
I like the bolts, slower but a lot of power and you get the random specials... but you can definitely substitute for magic short bow (i)!
gave it a try and went to the caves couldnt find a single revenant who was free in every world its full of bots lol

ive been doing revs 2 weeks before they improved the rates off and on, ive been noskulled using bowfa as rev slaughter/pker deterent, vw for antipk, suffering cuz im a prick, only killed nearly 4k revs but i have craws and tham, ive felt bowfa is basicly a specialless craws in my comparisons while also letting pkers see ur hand, i try telling people it isnt as scary/a drag as it use to be if you need 300k rq, revs 100%
any tips for not getting PK'd? I've tried to kill some revs multiple times and no matter what world I'm in it seems I just get jumped by someone within a few min. I'm lvl 105 and using budget gear so it's not like they're getting alot from killing me.
I would recommend avoid doing revs during peak hours... if it's busy, or I keep getting pked I'll do something else. I personally find early mornings during EST is the best time to go between like 5am-8am in my experience there are rarely pkers. Good luck!
For me I use the super busy worlds like 330 or any other world that’s high population

@@ZedGames also, the bots pk offensively now in rev caves. Human players ask if youre a bot usually.

So I don’t need to be wearing the avarice in order to receive the 45% drop bonus? All I need to do is put it on to skull and then bank it?
No! You need to be wearing it for noted drops and the bonus, sorry for the confusion. In this example I am just using the necklace to skull then I bank it so there's no risk of losing it. I wanted to show people on of the cheapest possible ways to do revs :)
@@ZedGamesI’m back after 9 months, took about a 4 month break but came back and green logged revs at 7k kills with 3 craws bows and 3 ancient relics. Got them all on task with amulet of course for the better drop rate. Thank you so much. Never thought I’d ever be able to afford the armadyl cross but I made 80m in the last 2 days and now have arms crossy, dhins, and fang. This is a gold mine!

@@ZedGames dude I’m a super noob I’m level 110 CB but scared to do any bosses. I tried Arma boss for the first time yesterday and got clapped. So revs is literally my go to ever since this guide. Literally my only money maker and I love the craws bows drops especially now since they are 26m. I remember this time last year they went up to 29m then dropped to 15m. Now they shot back up in price.
@@rubenrosales7416 Honestly, all the god wars bosses are a little bit difficult to do solo when you are just learning... definitely a lot easier with a partner or trio. That's awesome though man, I haven't even had a craws bow drop myself yet haha
Are u risking amulet if you protect item ?
As long as you keep your prayer up you will keep the amulet with protect item... You can always check what you lose on death in your gear inventory menu

Yeah that is new, you pay 100k to enter but you only have to pay again if you die inside the caves... it does increase your risk of course, by 100k
