It doesn't happen very often, but sometimes your iPhone just gets stuck. The display is frozen and unresponsive to touch or any buttons you press. This may happen with the display on, off or with the Apple logo. No matter what situation it is, this method will help you. I just want to say thankyou because this also works if your phone has an entire app frozen as you can see through the app but it's just on my home screen and it even stays after resetting so the fix was to power reset it.

My lock/power button on my iPhone 13 was just not working at all. Doing method 1 it didn’t pull up the power off screen but it seemed to magically fix it and Siri came up as I was holding the button. Crazy but it worked! Glad it wasn’t a hardware issue. Thank you!
