Thanks! Personally the third (tiny) loop, which is about 1:12 in, was the most intense for me. When you go into it it feels like your whole body gets thrown down...really the only thing that keeps your body upright is the shoulder restraints. And if you look you can see the camera drop down and bit and I think that's my friend grunting in the background. Also during the loop, its just a insane head chopper from the foot path that goes through it...all in a 2 second blur. It's great!
I guess Mindbender ain't for me then. But it's just like 10 hours away and it's a new credit, so should I go for it? Is it worth the headache and a potential "first aid room credit"?
i know the ride isnt in ur video but the galaxy twister ride at galaxy land is no longer there. they replaced it with a moser sidewinder and should be open in a month. i hope to get a video of it when it does open
I don't think it pulls that many anymore since there is only 3 cars. When it was running four cars (without OTSRs) I'm sure the G's were pretty intense in the front and back car. Also, I was surprised on how forceful the helix was too on that ride. It was almost as good as Goliath/Titans downward final helix. And pretty much the bottom of each drop pulls at least 3-4 g's too.
I definately know how that feels. I remembered Shockwave at SFOT which doesn't have OTSRs, I literally FOLDED IN HALF on the second loop right before the tunnel vision kicked. Mindbender pulls like 6.0 G's right? According to Schwartzkopf website it's like 6.5 or 7. Pretty heavy...
I would go for it! The G's on Mindbender aren't sustained like on most coasters. Also being inside helps from blacking out. It's a great ride. It is weird. When I rode it I did not feel like I was blacking out at all. I could feel the G's, but they happen so fast they don't even affect you. On most coasters, its about how long they are sustained VS how strong they are.
I’ve been watching galaxyland videos lately just for nostalgia because the park has been redone 😞
Same here lol i miss the old galaxyland
I hate to say it but this park will never be the same.
Bruh I was too young for any rides and lowkey this is a vibe.
awsome video
Nice music!
At 0:34 is that the most intense part of Mindbender? The second loop I think it is.
Thanks!
