The King Bat Alfred sees might be a reference to the bat that inspired Bruce to put on the cape and cowl, which is why he appears when Bruce looks at the cowl later in the game. In the comics it was big enough to break the window and go through it and was drawn as the size of Thomas Wayne's bust when he sat on it, which is about 7 times larger than the average bat and this was done by multiple artists through the years so it wasnt just artistic license. It could also be a an easter egg (which is why he is described so ambigously) to an opened yet unfinished subplot from Batman Forever. When Bruce remembers falling in the cave with his fathers Red Book he sees a giant bat coming towards him. The novelization monologue says "the cave was monstrous, as was the creature coming towards me. It must have been there since the cretacious period". The bat is shown in a deleted scene from the movie that didnt make the theatrical final cut and left the subplot, as well as the meaning of the movie title unfinished. It can briefly be seen in the Batman Forever trailer as well. The bat shown in the deleted scene is bigger than Bruce Wayne, which made some fans speculate it was Man-Bat, but Schumacher said he wanted the bat to be a tribute to The Dark Knight Returns, but WB cut it for being too gruesome for kids. Just my opinion.
14:17 Batman: "What's wrong Alfred?" Alfred: "What's wrong Master Wayne is that I didn't think your Batsuit could possibly look anymore ridiculous after the last one, and yet here you are again making me question your sanity and fashion sense" Batman: "I don't have time for this Alfred, I need to use the Batmobile" Alfred: "Is-is that a Prius with fangs on the hood?" Batman: "I PAINTED IT BLACK IT STILL WORKS!"
Here's one you missed. If you play as Deathstroke, Penguin will say "Welcome, Mr. Wilson, to Oswald Cobblepot's school of hardknocks." Anyone who's seen Batman Returns should get that reference.
Man Joker and Bats got a really interesting relationship. Still Can't Batman look at a utilitarian point of view and kill him or give him the Ras Al Ghul treatment and not save him. Think of all the lives that would be saved instead of the constant cat and mouse. Or does the Batman need a Joker
Correct. Without batman there would be no joker (vise versa) batman can easily kill joker but chooses not to. And joker knows nun of his goons can stop him plus he knows batman wouldn't kill him.
***** I agree with you 100%. I was actually hoping in Origins they were going to stick with their guns and run with Black Mask and his Assassins as the lead Villains and put Joker into a side note thought but unfortunately they did not and it somewhat made the game less interesting for me. Why they use the Joker so frequently is because he is the most recognizable Batman Villain as he is the most known to the general public, thats why some people think he is so important to Batman when the truth is there are just as many great Villains in the Batman franchise that are capable of being the Master Manipulator and great rival that the Joker is.
***** you re right man. I agree with you 100%. Batman doesn t need joker. He just wants justice and we all know that batman wouldn t kill anyone and won t let anyone die even if it s the joker (this proves arkham city). The only reason that batman "wasn t himself" after the joker died is that he couldn t save him. And why he would save him? Because batman can t let people die even if they are the worse villains.
If Thomas Elliot was drunk dialing Bruce Wayne, incoherently rambling about twins and surgery, it's entirely possible he was referring to his own master plan to surgically alter himself to look like Bruce's twin...
Here's another interesting easter egg, well not really. The voice actress for Amanda Waller is the same voice actress who did her in the Justice League Unlimited series.
Batman Arkham Origins was freaking awesome! How in the hell is not popular? It's one of the best games in whole series. If someone told me they didn't like the game, I would have said name 5 things that you didn't like about it. It's impossible because the gameplay and controls are exactly like Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight.
throwing this out there could the green eyes for animals symbolize that John Crane aka Scarecrow was doing some tests on them. As the fear toxin thingy does change the color of the things eye that it was used on.
32:00 This is the WORST thing about Batman:Origins, they didn't make subtitles for these random conversations between the thugs... I used to listen to every single one in Arkham City, they tell interesting things about the story, but now thanks to this, I missed like 90% of them in Origins, because I either failed to understand it fully or simply missed it. Thx
I seriously love how Joker's singing of "Cold, Cold Heart" is a reference also to the new DLC for Arkham Origins that was recently revealed by the same name: "Cold, Cold Heart," starring Mr. Freeze as the main antagonist.
You've just gotta give the Warner Bros Montreal team credit for the amount of work they put into this game considering they didn't make Arkham Asylum or City :)
Ok...I gotta ask. Whats with video games and big head modes? is their like some kind of funny story behind it? Just curious of their origins thats all.
I always wonder about the Batcave, Batmobile, Batjet, etc.. Like how does he have this if Batman's identity is a secret ? How he built all of them without raising suspicion ?
9:22 I like how you look down to first inspect the roaches to make sure everything is up to quality. If the roaches look unhealthy then everyone in black gate is unhealthy. Just doing a routine bat inspection.
This may mean nothing but i feel like the design of all the posters and adverts themselves are a reference to a golden age batman as they're very 30s/40s style. Clearly the game is set way nearer our time with his gadgets and all but the fact they made those little details from his golden age is kinda cool.
@@stanleyrabkin3772 I can get behind this sentiment. I've always felt that the "prison city/island" conceit took a lot from Escape from New York. a few plot points as well, like Batman/Snake Plissken getting poisoned.
I believe the books with rejected on it aren't people black mask rejected but the other way around. Since the books seem to be complete info packets it would make more sense to assume that these are assassins that turned down the offer to go after the bat thus rejecting it and returning the materials back to the thugs who were tasked with delivery.
Idk if you consider this one an easter egg, but here it goes: In the middle of gotham's city bridge (where you find the 4 big statues), of you go to the west side of it there will be some weapon crates, and near them on the floor there is a box with a rifle and 3 empty bullet caskets. When I first noticed that I thought: maybe I would fight deadshot on that place. Well actually I believe that is a wink to the arkham origins trailer, the one that has batman fighting deathstroke to a no contest after deadshot shoots from the bridge to stop him from killing batman and cashing the 50 million dollars. Seems deadshot is very careless leaving his used weapons behind.
Forgot to mention that the conjoined twins were the Abramovici twins. Joker hired Hush to separate them. He ended up keeping only one. The other one was taken by Penguin.
+SenseiKai In deed, i just realized that but wasn't sure that it was right. They also forgot to mention that you can find calendar man's cell in blackgate prision at the begining of the game right after seeing black mask releasing day out of the gas chamber
Baires 456 Yeah, i think the same but "official" info states its 5 years, for me it needs to be atleast 10 years, tough Gordon is still to young, but since we have him being brown haired in Knight, well, inconsistency is right there
Thomas Blake's description fits the description of the main villain in "The Most Dangerous Game". For those who don't know what that is, A man gets tired of hunting animals and decides to hunt humans.
Except the Worst Nightmare track i.e Predator Rooms not respawning after story completion, this game is too good. I don't understand why people don't like it, but the story, the Batman-Joker relationship is beautifully depicted. Open world is really good too specially because of the fast travel batwing function. Solid 9/10.
This clearly took a great deal of time and effort, and the hardwork you've put in is totally worth it! Fantastic job, some really wonderful finds! Really do nail down this series, one of my absolute favourites too! Just when you think you've done it all, turns out, didn't scratch the surface, amazing series :)
I'm surprised at how many easter eggs I found this time. I found like 80% of them. And I wish they put the rest of the Joker's version of jingle bells "Jingle bells, Batman smells, Robin laid an egg. The Batmobile lost a wheel and the Joker got away! Crashing through the roof, in a one horse open tree, busting out I go, laughing all the wheeeeee!!" XD
what do you guys think is the big, special easter egg? in asylum, it was the room for arkham city, in city it was scarecrow's barge. I think this one is the forshadowing of the suicide squad
9:36 What I find even more curious is that Crane's last sign-in was dated on the 22nd of December. The game itself takes place during Christmas Eve (and later Christmas Day). Assuming that he didn't just simply forget to sign out, this would mean that he's been visiting the prison for two straight days.... This raises some questions. 12:33 Yeesh...and I though "The Killing Joke" was the darkest, most horrifying story I've ever seen. DC has some pretty sick-minded writers. 17:12 You sure? That looks like a normal-sized bat to me, more or less. There's no way that could just snatch an entire turkey in one swoop. Plus, giving a peace-offering doesn't seem like the sort of thing a wild animal would do...not to me, at least - but hey, I'm no expert on the subject of animal behavior. I'm still leaning more toward the Man-Bat theory.
I don't know if this is a fact or not: When going against deathstroke, you can see penguin watching you fight him from above. If you use detective vision, you can see deathstroke have a armed status with the description of it being the remote claw.
i like how one of the many things people are critical of about this game (at least as i have heard anyways so dont all rape me if im wrong) is the lack of easter eggs and goodys in the game, first read that complaint on the first week it was out ffs. now look at this video, theres loads of easter eggs man and good one too, i loved this game, thought the story was good and the gameplay as good as the other two games. its a good edition to the arkham games and i must admit i was surprised by troy baker, honestly thought he was mark at first, and while kevin conroy IS batman (in my eyes anyways) roger craig smith impressed me with his performance too.
To be fair, a lot of these Easter eggs and secrets are hidden very well; most people wouldn't notice them unless they were exploring the environment fully and completely. In Asylum and City, the Easter eggs and secrets seemed a lot easier to find because most of them were tied to Riddler riddles; hints informed you when and where to look, and what you were looking for.
For me it was simply the story. I don't really understand why they marketed or catered to making this an "Origins" story, where Batman is just as agile and remarkable in his fighting, or that yet again Joker and him would be the big angle in the third game, yet again. But to each its own. Can't wait for the next game of the series!
tnargtnarud i can see your point there tbh and at first i questioned why joker was the main bad again but when you think about it it kinda works for the trilogy, all 3 games are about joker and batman and how in a sick way they both need each other, i really enjoyed it erm i think there should have been more life in the city like in spider-man yea know through some cillvilns in there that would have been cool. i was really pleasently surprised orign remakes kinda suck in my opinion its one of the reasons i love the first two games, they wernt retelling an old story they just jumped stright in to the batman univerise, everything was already astablished. so i was a bit unsure about this game but yea its a good addittion and the boss fights were awsome XD
32:24 It was actually the Matt Hagen version of Clayface who Roland Dagget was responsible for creating in Batman: The Animated Series. The Basil Karlo Clayface never appeared in that show.

9:33 the fourth name on that list is John smith a.k.a. RED TORNADO. Also the reporter from the radio in the credits is jack Ryder who eventually becomes the creeper.
I am so upset this game in particular didn't have more going for it. It was not a bad game by any means. However it had the most potential out of any of the Arkham games. I want a sequel.
I'm playing this game in 2018, I still enjoy the game without the Multiplayer, tho. The first Easter Egg I found is where I'm doing Blackgate Escaped prisoners, one of the Inmate says "I'll get out of Blackgate again, it' easy" and Batman answered "Maybe it's time for you to put in jail that surrounded by water." (Something like that)
I somehow want a mixture between the Arkham and Ultimate Alliance games. It's practically impossible to mash the two together but...wouldn't that be cool?
They should make a justice league game! You play as the main members and make it like the suicide squad has taken over Star City and batman villains have taken over Gotham and well this happens to all the main city's.
Jesus Christ Yeah. And you could have the same control as the arkham games. Except for Superman, you should be able to fly. Same with Wonder Woman and Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter. And if they have character trophies, that should also be your free roam character selection screen. Play as JOKER!
I don't know if it counts, but when you rescue Harleen Quinzel and the other guards or doctors all of them are "terrified" on their heart monitor, but she is in "calm" state

Late comment but yeah, I actually agree with you on that one. Reminds me of Year One
When I first saw that guy 26:00 I waited until he said the word Batarang and threw one right at him... loved doing that shit
14:17
Batman: "What's wrong Alfred?"
Alfred: "What's wrong Master Wayne is that I didn't think your Batsuit could possibly look anymore ridiculous after the last one, and yet here you are again making me question your sanity and fashion sense"
Batman: "I don't have time for this Alfred, I need to use the Batmobile"
Alfred: "Is-is that a Prius with fangs on the hood?"
Batman: "I PAINTED IT BLACK IT STILL WORKS!"
Pssh.
Haha
Who else didn't realize that they were watching an hour long video until the middle....
We are two
Hahaha I thought it was gonna be like 30 min and then I noticed the bar was only like halfway thru at 30 minutes xD
Fuck I just figured out from your comment.
@@nightcries4244 same lol
Here's one you missed.
If you play as Deathstroke, Penguin will say "Welcome, Mr. Wilson, to Oswald Cobblepot's school of hardknocks." Anyone who's seen Batman Returns should get that reference.
Crimson Knight I don’t get it can u explain
@@roryc6672 it's something penguin says in the 92 Batman returns movie
He doesn’t say that in Returns. He says the Oswald Cobblepot school of driving.
The interactions between Batman and Alfred are hilarious
Man Joker and Bats got a really interesting relationship. Still Can't Batman look at a utilitarian point of view and kill him or give him the Ras Al Ghul treatment and not save him. Think of all the lives that would be saved instead of the constant cat and mouse. Or does the Batman need a Joker
Correct. Without batman there would be no joker (vise versa) batman can easily kill joker but chooses not to. And joker knows nun of his goons can stop him plus he knows batman wouldn't kill him.
*****
just saying he;s gotta look at how many people he has indirectly killed by not killing the joker
***** двлх р прлптоэйо .йэвъг ъйп жналфрэ ц фър vjfblv
The voice actress for Amanda Waller is the same voice actress who did her in the Justice League Unlimited series.
samuraishinobi no wonder she sounded familiar
The one with Batman's parents gave me chills. The whole scenario plus the music in the background is creepy.
Same
Wow... There's way more to Arkham Origins than I thought
I love how during the King Bat part you had a different costume every time
Batman Arkham Origins was freaking awesome! How in the hell is not popular? It's one of the best games in whole series. If someone told me they didn't like the game, I would have said name 5 things that you didn't like about it. It's impossible because the gameplay and controls are exactly like Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight.
Not Arkham Asylum. The gameplay is an improved version of Arkham City
Hahaha those conversations between Batman and Alfred were very funny =)
great video man, thank you
The giant bat probably drank some whatever Bane has in this game by mistake. Seeing how he has green eyes.
True
Finn Human then the green eyed crows did to.
Finn Human nice observation
Good thinking
throwing this out there could the green eyes for animals symbolize that John Crane aka Scarecrow was doing some tests on them. As the fear toxin thingy does change the color of the things eye that it was used on.
Hearing Alfred's story of the King Bat is the funniest thing I've heard all day.
This game seems to go more and more in-depth with each prequel and/or sequel. Fascinating.
Thx
+Radical Ed And I thought I was the only one who felt this way.
the thugs are fucking annoying and are probably the worst things about the arkham games, besides body armor, stun sticks, and shields
+Giovani Campos so to you the worst things about the game are the only things that stop the combat being the exact same for all the enemys?
I know!!! I hated that they got rid of subtitles so much!!! I feel like an asshole, because these guys recorded it and I can't even listen!
*+Radical Ed* Umm, what? You know that the game has subtitles, right? Just activate them in the options menu.

I’m honestly really intrigued and curious about the whole “king bat” thing that Alfred is going on about
The woman is Amanda Waller, best known for HIS role in Project Cadmus.
Nice.
If only we could fight Man-Bat in the game :(
I've heard hints that he might be in Arkham Knight
BenedictusFan You were right. Now "Fortnite" is taking over though. Batman Is still one of the best games still though.
Logan Fowler Thanks for the info :)
Ok...I gotta ask.
Whats with video games and big head modes? is their like some kind of funny story behind it?
Just curious of their origins thats all.
First game I remember doing that was Goldeneye 007 . . I thought it was pretty funny, I was just a kid playing that one lol
Maybe it was an inside joke for Rocksteady.
I always wonder about the Batcave, Batmobile, Batjet, etc..
Like how does he have this if Batman's identity is a secret ? How he built all of them without raising suspicion ?
Magic
***** In Dark Knight an accountant caught him because of that
Whiteeeco And what happen to said accountant ?
Whiteeeco umm didn't they make a multiplayer game
click on the link then read what it says. Its a petition asking Rocksteady to make a multiplayer game
Love how Alfred started to grow to love the bat
9:22 I like how you look down to first inspect the roaches to make sure everything is up to quality. If the roaches look unhealthy then everyone in black gate is unhealthy. Just doing a routine bat inspection.
This may mean nothing but i feel like the design of all the posters and adverts themselves are a reference to a golden age batman as they're very 30s/40s style. Clearly the game is set way nearer our time with his gadgets and all but the fact they made those little details from his golden age is kinda cool.
omg marry me
I'm not sure why but I love the timeline of Alfred despising the King Bat to it becoming his best friend
Honestly, my favorite Arkham game. Second is City, then Asylum and lastly, Knight.
Damjan Milojevic no
I think my brother is the only person that loves Knight.
Origins first, knight and asylum tied for second, and lastly city.
I never thought of it. plus, you're right, deadshot leaves his weapons back all the time.just like he did in arkham city
+Δημητρης Χρονης well when he first appeared in the comments he was rich so that explains it
This is literally the best Arkham Origins video I've seen. 57 min worthwhile, great videogame.
Arkham Origins was really good, but it wasn't amazing like Asylum and City.
SERIOUSLY WHO CAN DISLIKE THIS VIDEO AND WHY? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THEM?
People who are fans of Marvel, but I like both.
Sceptile116 me to only because of deadpool and wovrine and hulk plus spiderman
You must be new to TH-cam *ahem* ...haters... *ahem*
I know right? You can brush up on batman lore, or learn new things from this vid!
@@sumogamer1234 wovrine?
Forgot to mention that the conjoined twins were the Abramovici twins. Joker hired Hush to separate them. He ended up keeping only one. The other one was taken by Penguin.
jj
+SenseiKai In deed, i just realized that but wasn't sure that it was right. They also forgot to mention that you can find calendar man's cell in blackgate prision at the begining of the game right after seeing black mask releasing day out of the gas chamber
+SenseiKai Origins is 5 or more years prior to Asylum, so i dont think so, Joker is like 2-3 days in Gotham during the story
+Kacpa2 10 years before asylum I believe.
Baires 456 Yeah, i think the same but "official" info states its 5 years, for me it needs to be atleast 10 years, tough Gordon is still to young, but since we have him being brown haired in Knight, well, inconsistency is right there
20:19 to spooky for me
The time u put is future told

Thomas Blake's description fits the description of the main villain in "The Most Dangerous Game". For those who don't know what that is, A man gets tired of hunting animals and decides to hunt humans.
Alfred basically told batman to go eat shit. Epic
Except the Worst Nightmare track i.e Predator Rooms not respawning after story completion, this game is too good. I don't understand why people don't like it, but the story, the Batman-Joker relationship is beautifully depicted. Open world is really good too specially because of the fast travel batwing function. Solid 9/10.
I laughed at the fact that Bruce wanted to capture the ‘King Bat’ and make it his mascot/sidekick
This clearly took a great deal of time and effort, and the hardwork you've put in is totally worth it! Fantastic job, some really wonderful finds! Really do nail down this series, one of my absolute favourites too! Just when you think you've done it all, turns out, didn't scratch the surface, amazing series :)
I just love batman's response to the Blackgate Prisoner's chant: Nooooooooo. XD
Moral of the story: Don't mess with Alfred's king bat
I'm surprised at how many easter eggs I found this time. I found like 80% of them. And I wish they put the rest of the Joker's version of jingle bells
"Jingle bells, Batman smells, Robin laid an egg.
I think this one is the forshadowing of the suicide squad
there was also the calendar man easter egg in arkham city that was found last week
I heard, and I thought that was more cool than the Warden's office from Asylum, but I'm meaning the one from Origins.
origins may not have one since it wasnt developed by Rocksteady
good point, but even if it doesn't, it SHOULD.
who knows, maybe we'll find one after Arkham Knight is released
Cold Cold Heart is a very subtle hint to the Mr Freeze DLC!
The Man-Bat theory can't be true cause. of Arkham Knight.
I like how in big head mode, Red Hood looks the same except for his feet and hands
i love the part with "King Bat" so funny
IGN didn't really THINK before saying that there are no Easter Eggs in this game.
Origins had insane cinematics and the batman was so merciless and agressive
The developers really did their homework, and so did you. Thank you for putting this together!
Videos like these are awesome. I really wish more other video games would have videos dedicated to their easter eggs and references.
I don't know if this is a fact or not: When going against deathstroke, you can see penguin watching you fight him from above. If you use detective vision, you can see deathstroke have a armed status with the description of it being the remote claw.
i like how one of the many things people are critical of about this game (at least as i have heard anyways so dont all rape me if im wrong) is the lack of easter eggs and goodys in the game, first read that complaint on the first week it was out ffs. now look at this video, theres loads of easter eggs man and good one too, i loved this game, thought the story was good and the gameplay as good as the other two games. its a good edition to the arkham games and i must admit i was surprised by troy baker, honestly thought he was mark at first, and while kevin conroy IS batman (in my eyes anyways) roger craig smith impressed me with his performance too.
agreed. to be honest and i don't know why, i enjoyed this more than city...
Can't wait for the next game of the series!
tnargtnarud
i can see your point there tbh and at first i questioned why joker was the main bad again but when you think about it it kinda works for the trilogy, all 3 games are about joker and batman and how in a sick way they both need each other, i really enjoyed it erm i think there should have been more life in the city like in spider-man yea know through some cillvilns in there that would have been cool. i was really pleasently surprised orign remakes kinda suck in my opinion its one of the reasons i love the first two games, they wernt retelling an old story they just jumped stright in to the batman univerise, everything was already astablished. so i was a bit unsure about this game but yea its a good addittion and the boss fights were awsome XD
NoLifeKing66 thats a good point there i never actually considered that
1 hours of awesomeness and mindblow.
0:17 and the DLC is called Cold, Cold Heart
Where's the hidden giant middle finger easter egg in response to WB games not patching this game?
32:24 It was actually the Matt Hagen version of Clayface who Roland Dagget was responsible for creating in Batman: The Animated Series. The Basil Karlo Clayface never appeared in that show.
This was a chance for Troy Baker to show a partial amount of his power.

In 9:39 I just noticed 2 names on the clipboard and that is John smith and Chesier. If you guys don’t know but John smith is the human name for the Red Tornado meaning that he was alive around this time and then there is Chesier this could be a clever way of saying Cheshire aka Jade nyugen meaning she was in Gotham around this time
9:33 the fourth name on that list is John smith a.k.a.
The first Easter Egg I found is where I'm doing Blackgate Escaped prisoners, one of the Inmate says "I'll get out of Blackgate again, it' easy" and Batman answered "Maybe it's time for you to put in jail that surrounded by water." (Something like that)
origins is the most underrated batman game. i loved it
Batman: Arkham game? Sure. Batman game in general? Eh. I'd say others are more deserving of the "underrated" title
16:44. Alfred is a badass. You mess with the bat, you shall see, LOL Alfred runs Bruce! BTW, i like the man bat addition
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY! This is the perfect gift from this guy :D
Because you're BATMAN !
Does any one think we might get a Deathstroke game? I think it would be awesome if we could play as him in a Suicide Squad game.
Cyber-Funk Doubt it, though that would be awesome
I somehow want a mixture between the Arkham and Ultimate Alliance games. It's practically impossible to mash the two together but...wouldn't that be cool?
That would be cool and all but I would really like to see a Green Arrow game.
At last. The video that I was waiting for!
i dont read the comics, but after watching your videos, i felt like i know so much more now. thanks and keep uploading awesome videos =D
I know, right!? I'm reading Hush right now because of this video, lol. :P
