@@CommanderJaime Thanks for taking the time to reply! I'm testing the deck on CFA and was wondering what your initial thoughts are on who to replace for the new G2 V Promo. Would you even consider running it in the first place?
@@evansjoewono it depends on how much you want to use it for. For example, my initial thought was mainly for consistency with discarding and check the top 5. It helps increase the likelihood of riding a G1 like Jefffery/Gorboduc so you can see Gurguits more easier. The battle extendening is nice but it does require a booster. However, it can be well worth it because it can call 2 cards from deck. Since it calls from deck, then you may have to avoid cards that only trigger when called from hand. So I can see 2-4 copies. Hope that helps.
@@CommanderJaime I plan on taking gurguit to bcs Atlanta but unfortunately not everything arrived in the mail. So I had to add liberator phallon in the g2 slot
I like running 1 stand with gurguit for the ultima plays just to attack with rears than ultima to restand everything and give an extra critical to those units
the thing with stands is on the ultima turn your opponent can ng the pokes to hope for triggers where as at 3 dam everything threatens lethal so they kinda have to guard everything or die in a fire
@@rongill1234 that's also a good point. Yeah I really like being immediately lethal. Especially if they're at 4-5 damage where they can still lose even if they heal 1 damage or get an OT.
I like V Gurguit still as a finisher when i cant stride Ultima as well. Its a very strong attacker still. I run a 2/2 split on my Gurguits. I still run Wonder Ezel in my list which may seem weird but having access to both Kinarius and him helps those explosive V Gurguit turns even more crazy but considering the popularity of Honoly in the format i can see why you opt for bigger number as opposed to more swings. I also still play Sagramore but I respect the Edmund tech. I like your list sir, not too different from mine overall.
Thanks for watching and your feedback! Yes the Ezel support is great! So there's definitely room for what players want to prioritize and tweak to their preference. Yes what you mentioned is also very strong with V Gurguit. I do like V Gurguit too and have considered the 2-2 split. I think it's doable since most players play both Jeffery and Gorboduc. Again thanks for sharing your feedback!
That's a great question! So I definitely recommend practicing the matchup. Game states will matter on what types of plays are best. Ideally, you'd like to go first and do as many attacks as possible. However you have to keep in mind the Open front row circles. To avoid a powerful Exterminate comeback turn, I feel it's best to leave the front row full. Sweep Command on ride can only bind 2. So Exterminate would only draw 2 cards. Plus the power gain is 20k unless they get rid of more front row cards. They can try to do Stunverse-Zorras but they need 2 specific cards (1 stride fodder and a G3). So ideally you'd like to put them in an awkward position if possible. Next turn if you can, try to finish the game with Ultima or other strides. The longer the game goes and more Accel circles you generate, the worse is for Golds. Exterminate will get to a point where it's ridiculous power-up can easily hit +50k. If you're afraid of Double Impede, I recommend calling a full back row too, so you can retire/bind 3 in the back and only lose 1 front row. You can try other card choices to help with that more. Cards like Sagamore, Perrimore, and Cavalier can call additional attackers when they're superior called from hand during the battle phase with strides like Idvarious and Bombardment. Do keep in mind the current metagame has decks that basically have an advantage over the other. Kind of like a rock-paper-scissors format. Hope this helps. Feel free to share helpful feedback too for others to see.
Love the format of your deck profiles
Thank you! I've been doing my best to improve them overall. I think I found a sweet spot. 🙏

Finally a deck profile for golds with explanations behind each card and the game plan. Thank you commander
Thanks for watching and you're welcome! Yeah Golds can be all over the place, so I definitely understand.

Yes that's also a good choice! The reason I leaned more on Crits was because of Honoly.

for extra damage you can instruct the opponent to "Gurguit gud" as you deal the final damage.
🤣
Oh Shnapz!!!!! It's Gurguit!!!
Oh yeah 😎
Does the English format not have Teudore yet?
Nope 😢

Have you played this vs current narukami? If so how is it doing vs that? It just seems to me that deck gatekeeps a bunch of good accel decks

playing the paywall because if you don't pay messiah tax you cannot play premium.
