Thanks Timothy! I’ve got a lot more hidden gems in the hard drives that haven’t seen the light of day. Should I keep them coming?

My daughter and her hubby spent a week's break in Okinawa just a week ago. They are currently on a 3-yr contract working in Japan (Shikoku) and it's difficult to travel anywhere for a break so chose Okinawa. They loved it! As for the Olympics, I'll watch any sport that I can, especially when Kiwis are competing. I just hope the games get finished without too many Covid problems as the athletes from all over have had to keep on training in extremely difficult times. They all deserve a medal just for perseverance. Great video Alex.

It said surfing was brought to Japan in the 60s... My grandparents were the first people to bring surfing over earlier then that. They taught the Japanese how to surf. So many good stories

I didnt know you were a good surfer Alex.
Okinawa is cooler than the main island.
    Its the Hawaii of Japan.
Its definitely a unique experience seeing a different country not just NZ.
    Thanks Alex for this video.

What you said about okinawan diet is wrong! Okinawans love meat and fish and almost one third of their calories come from animal protein and fat, if not more!! Let alone the calories that come from vegetable oils (fried oil) so why are you lying??
