We have used the th-cam.com/users/postUgkxOTeIs0vv4_9B5hsmnLsk9r930uDQLu_Y for probably 30 hours with our camper and it’s been great! The noise level is really only noticeable when running the AC and other appliances like the microwave, hair dryer, or coffee pot. It’s not huge like other ones and it has wheels so even at 90lbs, I can move it!

Sorry seen this a little late but wanted to chime in anyway. I have two of these for my RV and they are awsome. They start right up after about 2 years of ownership. If you instal and easystart on your A/C you can get away with that one generator running your A/C. I still us two thow as I travel at high elevations and we all know you lose power with elevation. Just FYI its nice to have two small ones VS one large one. easy for my wife to carry :) I dont allways need to run the A/C or use every thing in the rv all at once. so I only take two in the summer.

@@FABAutomotiveDetailing Any update on starting the A/C in the warmer months? Mine is 13,500btu with a wall-mounted thermostat/controller rather than the kind you have directly on the A/C unit's underbelly. From what I saw in another video, flip off the breaker for the compressor or whole RV, turn off the fridge temporarily, start yours on the fan side for about 10 seconds in low, then 10 seconds on high fan, then QUICKLY turn the knob over to the A/C Low side. Soft start will obviously be easier on the generator, but that's around $400 right there.

You CAN run a house on this. Not everything, of course and you have to use hair dryer, coffee maker, etc., one at a time. I have a 2500 watt dual fuel Champion that I connected to the 30 amp outlet my electrician ran through my breaker box. I can run HVAC fan, lights, TV's, computers all at the same time and that was on propane at 1665 running watts. Probably have to turn off HVAC fan for coffee maker but so what? Update. I purchased this after your review and you were right, it is awesome. I bought it for use in my RV with a Hisense portable air conditioner unit, and though it operates at 960w, the startup must have been higher than the 2300 startup watts available and it overloaded. The generator works great, as you said, but didnt work for me because of poor research on my AC. Just thought your viewers should know to look up the wattage used when the compressor in their particular AC unit fires up first.
I have a YETI power station that handles a 3000w surge and can get the air conditioning unit going but it drains the battery too fast. If anyone knows of a fix or trick for this, itd be a huge help, otherwise I have to return it and start over.

This unit would make a great boat anchor but that would also be an insult to boat anchors.
Recoil rope is nothing more than a few strands of fishing line wrapped in a velvet cover. If you get 25 pulls from it - you are the exception.

Would only increase range by a few miles every hour. Tesla uses about 220wh per mile. If this was charging at a full 1800w it would only add 6miles of range for every hour it's plugged in.

Kinda surprised that it got 80% load with the microwave which should only be eh 900watts for a RV spec microwave. Unless it's 1200. But that is still pretty low.
But then again i think it's because your RV plug isn't spec correctly. I have NO clue who put '120volts 30AMPS' There is 0 possibly for it to provide 30AMPS on a single 120/110v outlet. Now if that plug had a RV to 2 110/120volt AC 15-15amp plugs. Then you'd be able to get 30amps to the RV port. So that probably explains why the above was putting such a high load of near to 80-100% with very few things + the microwave. Because you're already at 1500watts on the Single 15amp rated AC 110/120volt plug from the generator. But if you had Dual plugs from it to the RV. you could've gotten that extra 300watts and surge power.
The Generator is 1800 stable watts to 2300 surge (Say the AC primes. It'll lower power After it Surges up from the compressor motor. or so forth.). But the Outlets on the generator are only rated to handle the same standard class of 1500watts/15amps as a standard home outlet does. So you'll never get 1800watts from a single plug. The ports are not shared (Atleast i think. The shouldn't be.). So you can run 1000watts on 1. And the other port can handle 800watts. Or like above 1500watts on 1 AC port and 300watts on the other.
Though that is just AC alone. Since you have Split load power. The power equals from the other ports. So if you have 2 of the USB ports doing 12watts each. That's 24watts. The 12volt port having 120watts that's 142watts. Then the 2 AC ports having 1500watt 1 and the other doing 258watts will = the full 1800 of stable power. But AC ports do use 5watts Even if there is 0 devices plugged into them. It's why most electric solar generators have a option to turn them off because AC power has to change switch power. Not fully sure on how inverter generators go. But i know electric solar generators work by converting the 12volt DC power up to 110/120volts AC. Which has to change the whole power system because DC is Direct current. While AC has a faze shift system. So it needs to change the DC current to shift power. So it has to use around 4-5watts just to power the ports. And you loose about 10-15% of performance of battery life due to the conversion. Why normally it's way better on a DC setup to run straight DC. It's easier and less power converting to loose a % of battery performance. Though with Gas. You're always using gas no matter idle or running low. So even if you didn't use power from it. You're still burning fuel.
Pretty good life for a idle/low power of around 17hours. Though how much it take? gallon of fuel or less? Would seem pretty nice.
