    High quality, bold prints on any surface
    Giving photo printing services a competitive advantage, the PIXMA G640 and G540 use six dye-based inks, including two new dedicated red and grey dyes for a wider colour range, creating deeper shaded areas and richer colours for vibrant photos with strong contrast. Both models use FINE print head technology for enhanced print quality which reduces graininess and produces rich colours.
    With reduced colour shift across different media types, from double-sided matte to conventional glossy and semi-gloss paper, users are guaranteed consistently high-quality prints on any surface. Photography enthusiasts who want to unleash their creativity can print borderless photos up to A4 and choose from a range of media types such as Canon’s Magnetic Photo paper for personalising fridge magnets or Restickable Photo paper for decorating walls.
    High volume photo printing
    Designed to meet the high-volume printing demands of commercial photo printing shops, Canon’s latest inkjet printers feature MegaTank ink bottles, which deliver incredibly high page yields. One set of bottles can print around 3,800 4x6 photo prints, meaning fewer bottle refills, less downtime and reduced cost, so businesses can print on with confidencei. Coupled with the ability to print a 4x6 photo in under 47 secondsii and a 100-sheet rear feed for uninterrupted printing these models increase productivity, an essential tool for businesses who are experiencing high foot fall and need to meet demanding print requirements quickly.
    Simple to use, easy to maintain
    With useful additions such as the user-replaceable FINE print headiii and maintenance cartridge, the PIXMA G640 and G540 make it easy for users to manage the device themselves and reduce downtime. Saving time and effort, the MegaTank ink bottles also feature a fool-proof, key-type nozzle to avoid any errors and require minimal effort to refill.
    Designed with efficiency in mind, these printers automatically save energy with the handy Auto Power On/Off, while the two line LCD display simplifies managing printer settings and jobs. The Canon PIXMA G640 and G540 offer Wi-Fi connectivity so photography enthusiasts can wirelessly connect their computers, cameras and smart devices and print their favourite snaps directly via the Canon PRINT App, Mopria for Android or Apple AirPrint for a seamless printing experience.

    Hi, Thank you for the review. I am thinking about Epson L805 or this one. Do you have any experience with L805 in comparison with this one? Especially about lifetime and durability?

    • @PrintCloud
      @PrintCloud  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, the lifetime of printer heads on G600 is 10.000 photos, it may last longer. I have less experience with Epson L805. For sure the Canon G500/G600 does not need to be taken for service for ink absorber replacement, as there is maintenance cartridge.

    Hi,Thx for the video, as compared to TS8300, did you mean the color is better or the detail is also better than TS8300? Would it be a couple of picture comparison of these two?

    • @PrintCloud
      @PrintCloud  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the G500/600 uses 6 inks to print photo, the TS8300 uses 5 inks to print photo. TS8300 has photo blue, while 6 inks has red and grey, so it has better color gamut, as photo blue was not really used a lot, rarely, red and grey in 6 ink CISS are equally used in printing

    I can't seem to find the printer heads for PIxma G550 in the Canon Shop. Where can I buy it if I need new printer heads?

    • @PrintCloud
      @PrintCloud  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It has not been a long ago since Canon started selling them as consumable, previously the print head were available only as a service part so maybe you check the warranty service to sell them to you.

    I still have the following question -
    what thickness of paper can the printer print on.

    • @PrintCloud

      I do no have thicknes info, but it can print on one of the Fine Art. When picking paper the paper will always bend a little bit from the rear tray. I suppose the paper can be quite thick, but not too hard.

    You've been very helpful with your great review.I'd like to ask if the document printing is so hoplessly slow and what is the true difference between pigment and dye ink regarding to quality and lifetime of the photo .
    Finally i'd like your opinion for something.I want the printer for printing family photos mostly and for printing some documents for my kid's school. Canon G640 is ok for the job or i have to spend twice the money for the Epson L8160?
    Thanks again and keep up the good work!

      Pigment is more UV resistent, professional printers like PRO-300 model uses 10 pigment inks, but that is PRO segment
