- Today, we will look at a scenario where Germany invaded the United States during WW2. During WW2, the US was a major contributor to the Allies and is a big reason why the alliance was able to win the war. But what if Germany managed to win in Europe and launched an invasion of the US with the Axis? For this to even be possible, Germany would have had to never invade the Soviets and successfully complete their invasion of Britain. Many other factors would have to happen to make a German invasion of the United States possible, so this scenario is fairly unrealistic. Yeah but we had Britain to help, Germany has to cross the Atlantic and somehow beat the us navy and then keep that army supplies while the USA has basically limitless supplies and industry conveniently far inland past a mountain range. The USA had to deal with u boats, but we still had naval supremacy so we just added destroyers to escort.
This comment tells me you have the iq of a earthworm and have no idea how war works or know anything about ww2. Like USA had naval and air supremecy, and island right of the coast of Europe, a massive industry, a larger population than germany, british support, Germany already being distracted on other fronts, friendly local populations. Meanwhile for Germany to invade America, they'd have to overcome all these issues, which is impossible in it of itself, but even then they would have to deal with a hostile population, a heavily armed population, a bigger country with much worse geography, and a massive ocean compared to just so small channel. D-day honestly already should have and easily could have failed. So germany doing the same to the US is unthinkable.

As a Mexican, I actually think Mexico would join the war during this time since the Mexican government was forced to sign stuff from the United States so that Mexico couldn't advance in technology/military in the future. And it kinda worked for them.

Of course in our normal timeline none of this was ever possible since they could never deliver a decisive blow to the United Kingdom and therefore could not break the barrier that kept them from this and they also failed to break the Soviet Union completely. Not to mention they lacked the kind of Navy that could go toe to toe with the United States and the United Kingdom. Needless to say even if they had the troops to spare they could never get them across the Atlantic and they would be better spent in Russia instead of at the bottom of the ocean after the allies sank them.
In World War II, the British ground forces were nowhere compared to the Werhmacht. So if the Germans had been able to find a gap where they could land, probably for a little while London would have fallen sooner than Paris

9:40 good job at first, you messed it up though when the troops were entering it was New Brunswick and then after the thin amount of land is Nova Scotia so u did a solid job.
Also Newfoundland is the island and Labrador is the part of land that touches Quebec

You should make a alternate history video where you are in the 1930s and doing a mapping video of ‘what if Germany invaded Poland’
that sounds really interesting, i bet poland would have allies france and britain to surround germany but they would be asleep when polish government sent the messages and not know, then the soviets would also kill poland but germany would take entirety of europe except like britain and turn on the soviets, but it would be so cold they would fail

I pretty sure realistically. Even if Germany take over all of Europe. They still can't invade the USA same go with Japan. But since this video is not meant to be realistic. That fine.
Japan has no shot to invade America, them somehow winning in China and all that is highly unlikely, and then they have to deal with controlling regions that don’t want to be controlled. And also the USA is helping China with bombing and such, so best case scenario is Japan and America agree to some peace, Japan would probably need to return many islands they took, and then they could focus on China and maybe even get control over the entire coast, but going inland is stretching it.

the amount of casualties and loss of ships ,aircraft, etc wouldve been way too much from hopping to the uk, iceland, greenland, and then NA. the us controlled greenland when denmark surrendered. Thats like 4 island hopping campaigns lol

Maybe the Development of Nuclear Ships would make it easier. They can go in and out without to refuel. Maybe not 1945, but until 1960 it could be possible. Some sort of a Hot Cold War.
