The Texas Lone Star Hiking Trail Video Series Trailer

On December 25th, 2023, I teamed up with my good buddy, J.Hikesalot to do a yo-yo thru-hike of the Texas Lone Star Hiking Trail. I flew in from Toronto, CANADA and Jay drove nine hours from Mississippi. On Christmas Day, we started our infinity-shaped yo-yo thru-hike of the Lone Star Hiking Trail. Starting at the Four Notch parking lot, we hiked west to the western terminus and back, then east to the eastern terminus and back. Twelve days, more than 192 miles, only one day of rain and many amazing people met. Jay and I were both so impressed with how well-maintained the trail is and how very friendly everyone we met was. We didn’t know what to expect from this trail that no one talks about and were delighted with our experience. Thank you so much to all who maintain this trail.
