@@thepeterparkershow bet the first video of a Kane built install with the details on how there is no plug and play headlight available, just a battery pack setup will get plenty of views.
You did! A loooong time ago! I think I forgot about it then saw Illicit ‘s in person and that pretty much convinced me. But you are right, you are the first to tell me about this.
Great review, and the image looks sharper than the similar brand that I have. The best feature for me is the infrared night vision... so I can see animals chasing me through the woods at night! Seriously, it's happened a couple of times, lol. The amount of space it takes up is the biggest downside for me. The stock mounting system didn't work for me, so I made a custom PCV sleeve to mount just the camera on top of my taillight. Comes in handy, especially riding creepy trails alone in the woods at night 😲
Another useful tool is the Garmin Varia rear light with radar as it shows all approaching traffic from the rear on a phone or garmin device. Well worth purchasing if riding on roads with traffic.
Is there another pole extension I can buy to mount the camera lens so it's secure, or is there a way to install the camera lens on the rear of the bike for better viewing.
So, it helps a lot and you feel it keeps riders safer, great. Now, how about reviewing this rear view camera on the road : how good is the LCD display under bright sunlight, any adjustable settings available for camera such as brightness, contrast, color, what are the resolutions of the camera and of the LCD display, how long does the battery last, etc, etc....
Battery last about 3 Hours. It's very reflective under direct sunlight but still visible. Brightness and contrast are options but don't help too much. Direct car lights at night shinning onto the camera will impair visibility.
I had something similar on my bike and one day the screen froze so when I looked down at it I didn’t see anything behind me, fortunately I was still in the habit of looking over my shoulder and I noticed the car before I turned, needless to say I don’t have the screen on my bike anymore…
Again, great video Peter! Just bought my wife and I this camera for our bikes. Question, when charging your screen, does the red indicator ever turn green when it's fully charged? Ours just stays red. Also, how long does your screen usually last? Ours is pretty much to it's last battery bar after 3 hours. Thanks again!
Glad you found it useful! The same thing happens to me, it takes a long time for the screen to charge 100%. You pretty much have to leave it charging over night.
Sure, you are going to need a female and male cable of these: amzn.to/3ybQheK The light: amzn.to/3y9mfZp and these to connect them together: amzn.to/2WhrpnR and some zip-ties: amzn.to/2WjSpmG hope that helps!
Thanks for the video. I purchased one and found it a great safety feature, however can't get it out of vertical display. Can you explain how to get it into horzontal display?
Took my bike to a mechanic and ever since i got my bike back from the shop the screen would go out at random. Pretty sure they broke it by pulling the cable.

Crazy, I remember sending you the Amazon link through Instagram DM for that rear view camera when you asked me where I bought it.

Love the gear coverage. Please keep them coming. Buying thru your affiliations.

Plug it into what to charge?

It definitely does not replace a mirror but it's good to double check over your shoulder when unsure.
Thanks!

Thank you so much.
Nice bike, are there accessories / carriers or racks to fill out that empty space in the frame?
Hello, how's everything! I want to know what's the best 4.3 tempered glass screen protector for this camera?
Unfortunately no tampered screen glass is designed for this screen but honestly you don’t really need one.
hey buddy I just got one too, but do I have to charge it first for it to work? because it's charging and it shuts off and it says no power
I think it comes already charged but try changing it and see if it turns on
Thank god, Fianlly i am deaf that important for me but i need this..
Never can be too safe
Great review, dude!
Learned a lot from ya!

@@thepeterparkershow amazing, thanks!!
Thanks for sharing that.

You can rotate the camera in the back until the screen displays it in horizontal.
My screen jus shows blue screen why?
No feed. Need to plug it into the camera
Do you have the link to the Velcro strips?
They came with the device
@@thepeterparkershow Oh ok cool

Hey! I’m glad you approved! To
Me it’s definitely necessary with this LA traffic. Can’t be too careful!
Awesome vid and content Peter Parker! Do you think this would fit on the sur ron with 3" or 2.5" pro taper bars?
Thanks man! I think it’s definitely doable but you might have to mess around with the wiring of the cable. Might make it a little bit awkward.
What is the brand of this camera?
TUOERQI. But FEISIKE makes the same one.
Is the monitor waterproof??? X
Not really! But the camera is.
@@thepeterparkershow ok so what can we do bout when it rains for the monitor!!! 🤔🤔🤔🤔
You don't find the fish eye view to be too small?
All the opposite. The view is actually really wide. It almost covers both sides if it wasn’t for the wheel being in the way.
I noticed you don’t have this on your bike now. What happened?
Took my bike to a mechanic and ever since i got my bike back from the shop the screen would go out at random. Pretty sure they broke it by pulling the cable.
@@thepeterparkershow Ah ok. Sorry to hear that! I plan to mount one on my bike, but wanted to ensure I didn’t make the wrong choice.
Just what I asked for!!!!!!

Thank you for this video
Thanks for watching man!
How you get Brad Pitt to do your Voiceover?? Props!!
Oh stop it 😆
I could use this
Is it waterproof?
Water resistant. I rode with it under rain no problem 👍
FINALLLLLLYYYYY
did you experience any blind spots?
only on the left, but that's because I installed the camera on the right side of my bike. also have that mirror on my left to cover any blind spots.
It's good but could be a bit distraction.
I agree. Specially now that I have my new Helmet mirror.
