My understanding of the game is that you can't leave the loop, because, for the "ending" where you push the car, it says we're in a coma... that and for the reference to sisyphus where we're condemned in a way, keep doing the same thing forever... but my theory is that there's a way hidden in the game, to get inside the locked door, that and because they're clues that this is rather an experiment. But in the end I believe everything is purposely left ambiguous so the player makes their own ending
