Thank you, Robin Williams, gave me strength through the hardest, heartbreak, in my life 💔. He gave me strength to put myself, on the” back burner” so my young children’s CB life routines ever changed! I had them in Therapy & took care of them, as any Mother would do I never said anything hurtful about their Dad, as it had nothing to do with them. Just like in “ Mrs. Doubtfire “. We watched Robin ‘s Film every day and anywhere we went. I thank, Robin , from the bottom of my heart; for helping me through this difficult journey in our lives 🌟🧡🌟😘💝. No fault should be hurled at Robin. He was a warrior without knowing what the enemy was. We love him and support him, even in death. I have saved many talk show videos of Robin with various hosts. It takes time between watching them to absorb his not being alive. I do continue to watch his films just to see his genius again and again. Do not fear that you are being unfaithful to his memory if you cannot watch him on film. Nanu, nanu Robin.

Even at his most desperate he made sure that we remember him as the man he was before the illness took hold. Strong, quick witted, remarkably intelligent, independent, etc. All the way to the end he was giving everything he had to others. What else is there to do when you have nothing left to give? Normally suicide is regarded as weakness or "the easy way out" but in his case that couldn't apply less. In his case it was the last act of strength and independance he had left. God bless you Mr. Williams

    Dedicated to Robin Williams:
The humble stand-up made the world laugh.
    I improvised every second.
    He easily brought to tears
    Your viewer and your listener
    Robin Williams pedaled.
    And maneuvered through his life.
Yes ... His path was not sinless
There is versatility, you can't turn away from it
Good-naturedly and energetically he lived on Earth
I flew to the soldiers in the war.
Responded to requests from his fans
People like him are not born twice
From "Happy Days" to "This is a fucking Christmas miracle"
Many different roles have been played.
Actor Robin Williams of various plans
    From comedies to snot
    Loved children and rare books
    Bicycles and computer games.
Was also a geek of cinema
    Collected what touched him
    No conviction from suicide
He could no longer make peace with himself.
    Losing memory and self-control
Robin settled the score and left bitterly ...
Robin's creativity does not fade away.
He lives in the hearts of fans.
Probably laughing with the Almighty in the sky
Robin Williams will never stop ...

I have a broad understanding of dementia and LBD, some of those things they are saying "Was Just Robin" was actually indications of the presence of the process that would have started 20 years ago, in fact it could have been in him since young adult hood, but the stages and progress of dementia is varied in different people.

As the wife/caregiver of my own husband, diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia - Defused Lewy Body Disease, Parkinson’s (on the death certificate), I appreciate seeing Robin’s Wish. Profoundly grateful for this film that tells the truth.
On my guy’s headstone is the descriptor “INDOMINABLE SPIRIT”. I see that same spirit in Robin and dear Susan as well.
I don’t believe Robin Williams made a decision to end his life. This insidious disease with the twisted perceptions the hallucinations brought to the thought process, was the driver of Robin’s actions in the end.
Our journey lasted from 2012 - Diagnosis 2014 - Death 2018. Had we not had the blessing of an early correct diagnosis…
The treatment of this condition is much different than other dementias. Some medications used as standard go to medications for calming a confused patient who is acting out is HALDOL (antipsychotic). This medicine and others are detrimental to someone with DLBD. Caregivers have to be guardians at the gate whenever medical treatments, including dentists, are needed as professionals are not necessarily aware of DLBD cautions and protocols.
As a grieving widow, I am glad to say this story helped me in the After Lewy part of my journey.
Could not cry at the loss of my guy as I lost him bit by bit over the 6 years. I was so happy for him to have relief from the fear, anxiety, depression, loss of mental & physical abilities and the magnified pain and terrorizing visual hallucinations.
I am able to shed tears for Susan and Robin Williams and all his friends and family.

Beautifully said. Unless a person sees this disease first hand it is difficult to understand what the patient, family and caregivers are going through. I imagine early diagnosis was extremely helpful. Not everyone has this blessing. Robin Williams struggles were as real as he was. Fortunately death is not the end of Robin Williams story.

“The thing that matters, is others.” Very wise, true words. This is what I realized when I experienced great personal loss in life, the greatest loss being the loss of my husband of 33 years just 1 month ago. The daily worries, bothers, irritations, and troubles (both real & imagined) just do not matter. A life well lived is a life with close relationships with family and friends. 🙏😇☀️💕

Perhaps, for Robin, a perspective of Self-determined Euthanasia, is a consideration.
To be remembered and loved for his craft, his gift and not to be remembered for an illness he didn't know he was fighting and had no control over.
Robin is still to this day my go to when laughter is not just the best medecine, but the only medecine.
His legacy is alive and well.
My children remember Robin Williams, not knowing he's passed on or how he passed on. He's still alive to them.
Robin is the gift that continues to give.
    Celebrate his life.

I have a theory, but I'm always questioning things in its self! If your partner is not doing well..why see him go down and not give him help? Do you gain from it? Why keep his children aligned? If you love someone sooo much, don't you want the best for them..and instead keep their mind stimulate? I don't know all the facts, but its seem to me that after he dies they know what he had. It just doesn't sound right to me! His wife.. from my understanding send him to a rehab? If you trying to not have the media, to not know what he's going thru..why send him to a rehab, when he's not having alcohol problems? I love Robin Williams!
