- Sydney Harbour Calamari Squid Landbased Jigging In The Morning Using Egi Techniques And Yamashita Squid Jigs
With the morning free, and an itch for squid to scratch, I packed up the gear and shot straight to the lower harbour east of the Harbour Bridge. The conditions were decent, the tide was incoming and the the weather was overcast with a touch of rain. It was looking good at the start but after a few hours, I still hadn't caught a thing. It was looking like it was going to be one of those days marked by a lot of effort and not much to show for until I finally found the squid. The only problem was that the time of my appointment was fast approaching...
