A possible tornado moved through the south side of the Raleigh metropolitan area this afternoon. This storm impacted areas such as Garner and the hwy 70 corridor. The possible tornado knocked over numerous trees, and some landed on nearby homes. Major damage can be seen to some houses as trees crushed their roofs. The possible tornado also knocked down power lines and stop lights in town.
Having large trees surrounding a home is not good!
Having houses surrounding all the trees isn't good. They were here first in many cases 🤷♀️
Depends how old the home is as trees some grow fast you still use common sense and not have trees by your home for safety normally a 20 m break then u leave the trees to grow wild as just by your home u keep an eye fir diein trees rotten trees n what not

Wow
Oh wow!
That is a beautiful place, and a scary amount of damage. 🙏
Why what is happening LSM is loosing its ability to capture tornados and mass captures.
😢😢
Looks more like straight line winds
It was a tornado confirmed...radar velocity from a radar station had 119 mph winds
Look at the way some of the pine trees are twisted there was a few homes where significant roof damage occured
If it was, I'd figure roof shingles would be disturbed, and the window screens. Looks like strong straight line winds.
Lol well maybe try learn a few things from us brits we live in a brick home n concrete what last many years also homes with big trees by them get checked every so often to see if it's safe safety something the USA has a lack of if u still buld wooden homes and leave big trees by them u needbto clear a area around them or trip big bits back
You have no idea what you're talking about. You don't have any experience with tornadoes or American architecture. Brick homes, which are very common in America, get destroyed by tornadoes too.
