Exactly the type of guy I never want to have on the same trackday. Dude is a beginner and thinks the purpose is to race the other participants. He keeps comparing his speed on track to others like a total [insert word Google won't allow]. He's all red flags. He even clearly kept others behind him instead of letting them pass. His (more experienced) passengers shout at him and his driving...and he just assumes he doesn't need to listen and he knows best.
If a guy like this is there, I'm not going out on track.
You need to be top comment. This guy is a 🤡
Yeah and he’s dull as well
I do track days on bikes. I couldn't agree more. But it sounds like he's starting to come around.
Exactly. Has no idea that brake fluid boils.
Track day and racing are NOT the same. This guy needs to be black flagged.
You ever listen to a toddler tell a story and the whole time you just want them to get to the point. This is what it was for this whole 13 min video!
L o l
Thank you for saving me 13 minutes. I was suspicious with his intro already.
I thought it was fine. Relating his story of diving into hobby racing and some of the intricacies. I thought the stuff about the lambo on the track was great.
This is exactly the type of person you don’t want to share the track with on open track days. You aren’t racing people on open track days, you are racing your own lap times. Just because you passed an RS doesn’t mean the lambo is faster. If that was the case then my GT3 is faster than a P1, GT2RS etc etc since I’ve passed them all before.
The Aventador may not be a faster car, but HE was faster in the Lambo than the other guy was in the RS. Look, if someone is going to take to the track, that person has to be just as mindful of what's coming up from behind--regardless of what car it is--as they are of what's in front of them. An open track day doesn't mean you're racing, but it also doesn't give anyone the right to hold others back either.
@@993isgawdwhat are you talking about? The RS was running his/her pace. They weren't blocking anyone. It's up to the faster car to safely overtake.
Absolutely... This guy makes no sense. He started at not even wanting to track any of the cars because afraid of hurting them or wrecking.... To deciding to push 10/10ths on his first track day... Absolute stupidity. Then bragging about how he passed a slower porsche.... This is newbie 101.... It's all about lap times and keeping track of what you passed. Both are completely irrelevant on your first track day.
And honestly, the gt2rs could have been on the phone. Not that I think it's a great idea.... But I do know some people who have done tens of thousands of laps at a track and they'll answer a Bluetooth call and just scale it back to 8/10s and effectively go into auto pilot.
@@robertstahl8835 That's true; the driver of any overtaking car has to make sure that their pass is done as safe as possible. But it also is true that if a car on the track during A TRACK DAY is holding up other cars, that the driver of that slower paced car graciously move over and let the faster car(s) go past. That's certainly what I do on track days; I know I'm NOT the fastest driver or that my 993 is close to being the fastest car even in the hands of a much more skilled driver than me.
From watching this vid and hearing his recounting of the pass, it sounds like the RS was definitely holding up both the Aventador and the trailing Ferrari who BTW were driving at THEIR OWN PACE, which sounds like the Italians was clearly faster than that of that GT3 RS. Any of these complaints about this person's "unsafe" driving reeks more like it's the case of a bunch of Porsche fanboys that are butt hurt over a "clearly unworthy POS" early vintage Aventador whipping around a "mighty, obviously superior" GT3 RS.
This fellow might not have had a lot of track hours in his past beyond what he did in karts in his youth, but that doesn't mean that he might not have some higher level of natural skill either. There ARE guys who are just born with it, even if they didn't previously have the money or time to actually pursue it professionally or even as a hobby. One point should be clear: the ability of someone to financially afford and buy a GT3 RS does NOT overshadow such talent and make that Porsche buyer a better driver, regardless of what car is on his six.
@@993isgawd Someone driving at their pace isn't holding anyone back. Your statement is wrong and makes no sense.
“I can do it Faster!” Lmao famous last words!
Oddly funny how clueless he and people are about track driving and racing.
Brake fade is a known issue in most of these cars.. first thing I do, is get SS brake lines (if not equipped) and most importantly change brake fluid to a higher boiling point fluid like motul 660
😆 I love when people who never go to the track say "I pushed the car".
Im the ding dong who would drive an LP-700-4 Aventador on a track. Just because you have a fast car doesn’t mean you have a fast driver. If you have enough skill and know a car’s capabilities, you can be quite a weapon.
Very true, but the brakes are a well known issue once they’ve gotten hot which happens quickly on a track. I’ve seen tons of videos where lesser cars destroyed the Lambo’s due to their brake failures.
Congratulations on joining us trackies, but never have a beer until the day is done. Change your brake fluid often.
F1 drivers used to take a few cig puffs and guzzle champagne at pit stops.
@@stuffhappens5681 I remember that. They would do it while the mechanics poured gasoline into the cap behind their heads....lol
Non-alcoholic beers are a thing. 🤨
@@flyingphoenix113 So’s decaffeinated coffee. Yuk.
@@superdave2316 somewhat unrelated but I remember an f1 driver crashing at Monaco and simply walking straight to his yatch drinking champagne rest of race !
Found it th-cam.com/video/ZMzeluIxblY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=dr-zLaX4ILPCsc1V
On track, I'm taking a GT3 or GT3RS over an aventador. The aventador is a phenomenal car, but on track the porsche thrives.
Nah. I'd take the lambo. Purely because it's not a track car.
Man learns brake fluid boils at very high temperatures, even on $300,000 cars. More news at 11.
His last sentence was the most important one of the whole video.
You need MISHA on an episode the guy from the Ring he is an awesome driver.
What's with the lame guests lately? Where are the guys that we can identify with? Seriously, a story of some guy in Indiana hard parking his Subaru at Taco Bell would be more interesting than this.
Lmaooo
That v12 was SCREAMING among those 6cylinders haha
This guy never had the plot to lose.
JP-PERFORMANCE needs to be a guest ed
Sounds like he learned English watching the terminator
He's German. That's what Germans speaking English sound like.
This guy was thinking what supercar to order during covid.
Meanwhile me washing my groceries with soap.
Aventadors have always had huge brake issues on tracks, they’re very cool looking cars and are great in straight lines but will never be canyon carvers or stop after already heating up the brakes. Lamborghini has always been about the insane looks and straight line speed but thats about it imo. If I wont the lotto I would probably buy a Lambo just for the ridiculousness of it but I also bet that I would sell if after a couple years since they aren’t that great of a car for the money.
Sold my Huracan Evo and bought a GT3 RS….. What a difference 😮 Lambo was fun and emotional but the Porsche is a precise track weapon. Will not go back.
it is in a league of its own. Drove it on track right after a few laps in a 488, no comparison.. Had a chance to drive a Huracan as well, wouldn't even consider it.
@@dens6960 Only „problem“ is, the RS is not a chill cruiser around town. Once I am behind the wheel I feel like being in full attack mode, the car wants to be pushed to its limits… I do not regret the 3 year lambo ownership, but now it is as someone really opened my eyes. Have fun!
Some mfg develop race cares for the street. And some mfg develop street cars for the track. Doesn’t mean one is better than the others. It’s just very important not to confuse between the two.
Yeah we already know the aventador is not a track car. The aventador is its own being, just its presence is enough.
JESUS ANOTHER GUY THAT CAN'T TELL A STORY AND CANT UNDERSTAND WHAT THE FYCJ HE IS TALKING ABOUT!!
////truth! \\\\\
The Aventador is a lot of fun but that's because it's a bit rough. Them shifts are fun but terrible and do get annoying if you're actually trying to run fast times
Redline brake fluid boils at 650 farenhight use it brake still work when really hot .
What's with the random photos in the background?
The best advantage on the aventador is the 4 wheel drive and the power besides that it’s just too clunky and heavy for tracks that’s why I get why people prefer the huracan
Even as an ex huracan evo owner, I sold it to switch to a GT3 RS - will never go back!
This guy can not come back on VinWiki and i think everyone will be okay with it
BiG and heavy! Still would love to have a go in one❤
The first Aventadors were not track oriented unlike the SVJ which definitely was!
All the TRACK EXPERTS HAVE ARRIVED 🍿
Can you get the IMPORTAPART guy on, to do a show? I feel like he has so many good stories
Where do these Hess brothers get all this money?
There was literally only one sentence about how bad the Aventador is
thanks for sharing, you inspired me to try something new
After I worked on a bunch of AMG cars, and Ferraris when I was at Mercedes.
After that I deciding those cars really are just expensive piles of nuts and bolts.
Why do you keep showing Diablos when he's talking about Aventador?
Can someone help me understand what hes saying when hes talking about the porsche handbrake 1 click up? Im sorry!
That guy should be no where near a racetrack lmao, should invest more in proper driving technique
It's a track filled with people with too much money, what did you expect?
I did my FiA national C license testing at Hockenheim. I hate that race track. It's a technically difficult track which favors light cars.
This lambo European guys sound like middle school kids telling stories. From the Brits to the Germans, all sound the same, like they bought their personality on Temu. “Oh yeah it was a dream” “when I was a kid I saw one and It stuck in my mind” “he thought I was vanilla but I was custard instead”…
Compared to people from which country?
Bro, Id like to see you make a 10min long video in this dudes native tongue which I assume is german..Why cant you just enjoy the story without trying to be a smart ass.
P.s. You surely did fail english in school didn't you? Let me correct your spelling and punctuation.
The European guys driving those Lamborghinis sound like middle school kids making up stories. Whether British or German, they all sound alike, as if they purchased their personalities on some website. "Oh yeah, it was like a dream." "When I was a kid, I saw one, and it stuck in my mind."
So cool to hear a story of someone driving the crap out of an Aventador at the track ❤️
Interesting perspective, got me thinking!
Beep boop
$ doesn't equal brains
Lemon squad is a scam. They overlook easy to find issues and don't stand by the service at all. I lost 20k because the inspector didn't want to bend over to look at the frame on a high sitting truck
The intro sound needs to go away.
Esteban Ocon and Nico Hulkenburg are tall... Just saying.
This is the type of guy that real drivers and car lovers don't like.... no clue what he's doing
Cool story bro....
The Aventador is kinda overrated
You shut your damn mouth.
So is this guys story telling
No. Its natural habitat is just not the track.
The Aventador is a savage but it’s quite heavy to excel on track. The 911 GT3 is a surgeons blade on track the Aventador is a lump hammer
To compete with GT3/720s, you'll need a SV or SVJ
Seems like a nice guy but all of his stories are absolutely intolerable to listen to. He has a problem die-rectly getting to the point.
Ed get the original guys back.Rabbitt....Tyler.....All of them.Tired of seeing foreigners.....
This is super boring
First 🤣
Yea put a gt3 in normal day life.. is even worse than the aventador
