Jun Senoue was the composer and guitarist on this OST and his ability to make an electric guitar melody want to make you cry with how beautiful it is will suprise the uninitiated. Tomoya Ohtani has been the composer of the series since "Sonic the Hedgehog(2006)" and he really is amazing as well. Very cinematic and dynamic soundtracks. He should've been the composer of the Sonic movies over Junkie XL, in my opinion.
Agreed. Ohtani is such a talented composer as well. Being able to do atmospheric, lo-fi, EDM/Electronic, and Rock/Metal and doing a fantastic job at all of those.
Sonic Adventure's music lives in my heart and mind rentfree, it helps me to get back to the past, in those innocent times.. Even if Sonic game will be mid or bad, this series will always have amazing music (Dark Brotherhood is an exception)

I wouldn't say "better" but don't get me wrong because both tracks are absolutely legendary and deserve the praise, but I think something people overlook is that SA1 was going for a very different vibe compared to SA2. SA2 has more rock and roll focused in more tracks, but SA1 has more variety in the type of atmosphere it tries to convey, but yes I agree! The SA2 soundtrack should also be given a try! I have some all-time favourites in both games!
nah, adventure 1 is perfect as ost, with clowe themes to the classics, every song matters. adventure 2 is overrated boring rock shit where it's just 1 or 2 or 3 songs. there are more interesting sonic osts out there, like cd, unleashed, 06, hell even rush

There's a free fan-made remake called P06 and it's free I think. The remake 100 times better than the actual game, but there's no story mode yet as far as I'm aware.

After you do Sonic Adventure 2 I’d recommend Sonic Unleashed, Sonic 06 or Sonic Colours. All fantastic OST. Also the Japanese OST of Sonic CD or the Sonic Rush OST if you’d prefer some funkier music. If you want some *SOUL* however try Sonic R. It never disappoints.

I'm a bit late but into the video you said you wanted to play Lost World, and how people call it bad. Big tip is to just... play the games for yourself and see how you think about them. People are very diverse in their opinions and it makes it fun to see how people feel. Personally, I love Lost World, it's a very fun game. If you're looking for a story, Lost World isn't the best choice but the gameplay is very cool to me. Sonic 06 is another game where while I don't enjoy it that much, I think there are fun parts of it. Would be interested to see how you end up liking all the games.

Sonic unleashed, sonic colors, and sonic heroes for my fav sound tracks. But you have to play the HD version of Sonic unleashed, it’s a completely different game from the PS2 and Wii version.
Colors is also significantly different depending on whether you play the console versions or the ds version. Ds feels more like a Sonic Rush sequel.

After you do Sonic Adventure 2 I’d recommend Sonic Unleashed, Sonic 06 or Sonic Colours. All fantastic OST. Also the Japanese OST of Sonic CD or the Sonic Rush OST if you’d prefer some funkier music.
If you want some *SOUL* however try Sonic R. It never disappoints.

Crush 40 man my first taste of rock other then DBZ budokai Tenkaichi games. Always enjoyed coming back to these tracks from time to time.
Although sonic 06 is umm let’s say quite a game I recommend it’s ost especially silvers theme ;)and I also recommend sonic and the black knights osts its autherian legend basically think sonic with a sword based in a knights at the round table its a good choice but great reaction btw

I'm a bit late but into the video you said you wanted to play Lost World, and how people call it bad. Big tip is to just... play the games for yourself and see how you think about them. People are very diverse in their opinions and it makes it fun to see how people feel. Personally, I love Lost World, it's a very fun game. If you're looking for a story, Lost World isn't the best choice but the gameplay is very cool to me. Sonic 06 is another game where while I don't enjoy it that much, I think there are fun parts of it. Would be interested to see how you end up liking all the games.
