Had my honeyburst classic for a few years now and it’s my favourite Epiphone that I’ve owned yet out of 8 others. I upgraded from a plustop pro and this was a big upgrade. Couldn’t be happier with the classic.
I just ordered this guitar yesterday from guitar center. Your video helped me choose the guitar and the finish is awesome looking , I was able to get 48 months no interest charges , and a discount which helped
Guitar Center? You've obviously never bought from Sweetwater because once you do, you would never buy a Guitar from GC ever again. Unless you visit GC personally and find a great used one.
Just bought one of these on ebay, a 2020 model although mine has date stamp of 2019 November. The frets on mine were rubbish, so got them sorted, now she's fine
Bought from ZZounds. Could have returned them and tried another but I fixed them myself. I have the tools and experience. I suspect it’s a flaw that plagued the early ones but not sure. I’m somewhat of an amateur guitar tech so fret level and dress is within my skill set.
Do you guys recommend this or the Epi Custom? The custom has every bell and whistle but it looks a bit OTT for me. All I really want are better pickups and locking tuners.
I have both and can’t pick a favorite. They feel different to play. I’m not sure why but I find the necks to be a little different. This one has more switching options. The Custom does not have push pull but it feels more expensive.
@@WickedFesterBand But the tuners already on are 18:1, so you can buy locking tuners separately and put them on without drilling the hole bigger, correct?
@@nu-agegamer3548 Correct. The 18:1 is the gear ratio, not the size, but these would be drop in replacements. www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/502C--grover-roto-grip-locking-rotomatic-tuners-33-chrome
I have the same model in Honey Burst and various Epiphone models from 2020 and say that they are all good guitars and the price is ridiculous. They have almost no faults in anything and other brands with expensive prices are worse and I had to return many. Epiphone is currently the best brand for prices. My Les Paul Prophecy Custom is a super guitar and so is the Custom Koa. Better than Gibson.
I was thinking about one but apparently I have trouble spending much over $1,000.00 on a guitar. Got an EVH Stripe Series instead. Might pull the trigger some day though. lol It is a beautiful guitar. Heck, this Epiphone is a beautiful guitar.
@@WickedFesterBand thing is this, quality shines out. My Gibson is head and shoulders above sub 1,000 guitars. And you only need one ☝️ only one! The neck, the frets, the playability and the sound is so much more worth it. It’s only money 💰 and you only pay once for the rest of your life to play your dream guitar. The money you will forget spending. The guitar you will play forever…….. and never forget…….. think about it. Bought mine on my credit card on a special deal 1,500 new honey burst. Paid for it now but my Gibson is there for me forever. What a deal……. She makes me smile. I am truly happy.
@@aliengrey6052 I have a 1992 Les Paul Studio, an early 2000 Les Paul Special, a 2013 Les Paul JR Special and a 2017 Les Paul Tribute, all Gibsons. They do play and sound fantastic.

Awesome! Thanks for watching!

I have the exact same one same finish no complaints here it's an absolute beast

Like it! Love the tomes on the neck. $599 is not bad.
great looking guitar , thanks for the review of it . I am debating whether to buy it or the Les Paul 60s
I made the same choice. I decided I wanted uncovered pickups.
Very good Les Paul,
Great review Terry. You're getting good at this!
Thanks Al!
Did you have to do the adjustments on the frets on the other 2 you bought or did the dealer fix it for you ?

I worked on one of these just a couple weeks ago, really nice when set up right.
What is the constant cricket sound in the audio signal? Of the feed. not the guitar or amplifier.
Could actually be crickets, or birds. I am standing next to an open door and I live in the country.
Sounds good.what amp are you playing through.
Positive Grid Spark
