A paper tune is really just a way to get things "close" to tune on a bow and is a starting point. Most people stop here but in reality you can get things more refined with other tuning methods but it takes more time and shooting practice. The walk back would refine a paper tune more but the bow should be darn close to a good walk back if you paper tuned it first. Its really just a step to get things close so you don't have to move your rest a lot down the road with further. I have a link to another guys video were he gets a perfect bullet hole through paper but then has to adjust his rest just a bit to pull things into tune.
