This may seem silly, but this scene changed my life. Was at rock bottom a couple of months ago. Lost my wife, family, house and business in the divorce last year. Oh well life happens. I saw this movie free on TH-cam. I paused the movie and rewatched this scene and thought what a way to live. I decided to emulate Brandon Fraser’s Adam. Being polite and enjoy what is available to me. Always and in any situation. Fast forward a few months and I have the best job I have ever had. I come back every couple of weeks to watch this clip. I guess I am becoming the elevator guy. But Perry just gets me so cranked! I am really serious, at first it felt kind of fake being polite and just listening to what people had to say. But now people seem happier after I get to spend time with them and that makes me happy! What a film. Thank you 🙏
And we all do it explaining to someone that doesn't get the music we are explaining at all. That was the actual point. What we're explaining can barely be heard by who we're explaining it to.

OMG! I love classic rock. What I call really kicking it in is like when the guitars kick in in Lynerd Skynerd's Freebird. Saw this with my Mom. Started laughing at this scene them my Mom took offence and said "but I like Perri Como!" . Then I really could not stop laughing!

This sums up whole movie. Boyhood innocence of Brendan, and the outright bitchiness of the Alicia. She was terrible the whole movie and a bad match for Brendan. “I know better” but why is your life in complete shambles then?
